| | As the winner of one of the foreign language books I was NOT amused to find the extra handling charge that was being charged. I noted when I bid that they were requiring payment for Prioriry Mail. Fine, I send enough stuff Priority mail all the time to know that for a single D&D book, it can be sent in the flat rate cardboard envelope for the nominal Priority mail charge $4.05 last I knew. Well the Shipping and HANDLING total is $11.00. So the seller who is handling the auction for Mr Ryan is charging $6.95 to "Handle" a single book. I let them know about my dissatisfaction when I paid them. If I had filled in the postage calculator I would have seen the extreme shipping bump. It is the same type of high handling charges across the board on all the D&D items that I checked as I am sure other buyers have been finding out. My 2 cents (and more) comments.... | |

| Yah, I made the bid and had I filled in the postage calculator before I did, it would have shown me the high charges, so the seller was not hiding anything, but they were not exactly forthcoming either, since the body of the text only indicated that Priority mail shipping was required, nothing about surchages in the text.
Had I won a number of items, I would probably have been more likely to make a bigger stink, but life is too short to get too worked up over a few $$ beyond some quick feedback.... | |

I ,to, have not heard back from this seller. I won mine a week ago and have sent him five emails using various contact seller options. Just make sure you do not pay him until you hear from him. | |

| | No worries, if paypal does not refund the funds later if I do not receive the items my credit card company will be more than happy to receive my request to start a chargeback. The biggest problem that I have with this is I was buying these items for a friend that does not use the internet. | |

My only beef is the auction claimed items ship within 3 business days and its been 6 but considering how many other recent ebay problems I'm having a 3 day delay is no big deal (I've had to file three Paypal buyer protection complaints all on people with 98%+ positive feedback...what's the deal lately?). | |

Thus far neither of us has been scammed, but the sellers sure are dragging their butts. I take my end of the deal very seriously and complete my obligations promptly. I also understand that inconveniences pop up but taking over a week to follow through is just irresponsible. | |

| I had picked up a Hebrew Edition DMG just for yucks and for something for my wife to play with (she teaches bar mitzvah students).
Couple of interesting things. Alphabetical sections get all munged up when comparing volumes side by side.
Units of feet appear in meters instead...so range of 20' is now 6m... | |
