| I know this probably isn't for General Discussion BUT I didn't want this hidden I wanted everyone to read this.
Tuesday I received some minis from Spikegif. now I'm not sure if your all aware of the Situation but I wanted everyone 2 know what this upstanding member of our community has done.He had no obligation at all to do what he has.
12 months ago I had a trade with another member(Mackey V not to be confused with the other Mackey whom is an upstanding member of the community) now this trade went sour and I never received my minis.It was one of my first trades and it really left a bitter taste in my mouth.I almost decided to leave maxminis, anyways to cut a long saga short. Spikegif has I feel Gone above and beyond in his efforts to reunite members with their minis.
He has gotten mine back to me and I see him as an example to be followed by all. Really showing what it means to be part of a community and I would like to publicly Thank him for what he has done!

| | I'll chime in and ditto those remarks. He's the one that got me into the game and kept me going. In fact he's one of the few people (sometimes the only one) who always comes out to the tournaments and league nights to school me in the art of minis. Great guy! | |

He's not doing it for the bad trader, he did it for Kypdurron. Why do people try to look for ulterior motives in a good deed? Just accept it at face value. Spikegif really IS a good guy.

| I have to say that I have had nothing but good dealings with many members of this community. Spike is a fantastic person for getting these minis out to people.
There are times I think we do not emphasis the positve enough in todays world, so any chance to show a good deed is appriciated in my mind. | |

| Well, I am not sure how to respond to this thread.[:I] A big "your welcome" and "thank you" to Kypdurron for his public “Thank you” and everyone else who has responded.
I know that I have not been very active in trading on maxminis in the past year, but this is still my online home for minis. It seems that for the most part we are all very good to each other, kind in responses to each others posts. We do our best to locate them bad traders and point them out to others. A great deal of trust is required when making a trade online and a persons reputation of trust is a very big part of who we are.

When MackeyV first offered up his collection for sale, I was looking to add to my ebay store inventory. Of the last remaining 4, I do not have contact info for 1 of them (Hugo), 1 has not responded (demagogue), 1 does not remember what the trade included and I have no info on it (striker) and the last one I was not sent the minis for his offer (Kreatobergas), well I was sent 1 mini from his trade, but that was sent back to the original trader. I do not have the extra minis for trade that was part of his trade, but I am working on getting them. | |

| Heh, I've got a neat Spikegif story. A while ago, we had a trade involving an LRD on my end. After about a month, he didn't recieve my end (the LRD one), and so I sent out a trace on the package. Then I resent. Something like 2 months later the original LRD shows up at his doorstep, and he sends it back. It was then known as the "Prodigal LRD."

Hey man, thanks for humoring me with the explanation, I really was just honest-to-God curious and not thinking anything bad on your end at all, God Bless for what you felt like doing as it is a very nice gesture to those that got scammed. My only other view, besides the one that you are an outstanding guy [:D], was that YOU have cleared up MackeyV's mess, not him, and therefore even tho the people have received their items it should really still remain as a very big side note on his record...not that he'll be doing any future trading anyway.
