| Here I will type something from Merric Information Site I need to be clarified on WotDQ. On "Notes" you can read the following:
"A booster contains 1 huge figure (either uncommon or rare), 1 normal rare, 2 normal uncommons and 4 normal commons."
Does this mean that if you buy a case you will find in two boosters two rares (1 huge and another one normal)? I expect your opinions, friends... | | Champion of the Molydeus Vindicated Blood War Called Shot: Cornugon (Horned Devil) Icons Called Shot: Tarrasque Vindicated Dungeon of Dread Called Shot: Mind Flayer Against the Giants Called Shot: Uncommon Fire Giant Demonweb Called Shot: Myrlochar Feywild Called Shot: Molydeus "Sé que me acusan de soberbia, y tal vez de misantropía, y tal vez de locura. You always get qa normal rare, as stated before. From there your Huge will be either uncommon or rare. So in answer, you can have 2 rares in a pack. | | Champion of the Beholder and Beholderkin

| | IIRC the rare/uncommon Huge distribution is 1/3. With 6 packs per case you should indeed expect on average to pull two boosters with two rares (one Huge and one normal) per case. A 1/3 distribution doesn't guarantee two Huge rares in a single case, though. | | Knight Warlord a.k.a. Commander (#32) in only 6 months. Where's my pie? Do you mean you will get in a single case three boosters with two rares (one huge and another one normal)? Wow! That would really rock!! | | Champion of the Molydeus Vindicated Blood War Called Shot: Cornugon (Horned Devil) Icons Called Shot: Tarrasque Vindicated Dungeon of Dread Called Shot: Mind Flayer Against the Giants Called Shot: Uncommon Fire Giant Demonweb Called Shot: Myrlochar Feywild Called Shot: Molydeus "Sé que me acusan de soberbia, y tal vez de misantropía, y tal vez de locura. | | This would mean 2 huge rares per case, not 3 (ignoring any weird snafus). Cases of WotDQ will be 6 boosters to a box. | | Trade & talk in real time on IRC! SERVER: irc.psionics.net CHANNEL: #maxminis SOFTWARE: PC | PC (free) | MAC

| | Right, a case of six boosters gives 4 uncommon huges, 2 rare huges, and 6 regular rares, so two of the boosters in the case will have 2 rares. | | Champion of the Entire Monster Manual 1! (Click link to see current progress!) Uncommon Painting Competition 2 Winner | |

| | OK. So explain this to me. I remember how hard it was in GoL to get all the rare huges...to me, this sounds like it is going to be even harder. Can someone explain it in easy terms for this poor, poor aberration? | | Vindicated Night Below Champion of the Digestor!!! Ok then how can 1 in 3 WODQ boosters have 2 Rares in the same booster?
Standard distribution is
4 Commons 3 Uncommons 1 Rare ----- 8
How can you have a Huge Rare and a Regular rare in the same booster? | | Champion of the Zhentarim: Manshoon, Fzoul and Scyllua Darkhope | |

| Hello,
To address all of the questions:
In GoL there were 12 boosters to a case, with 3 containing huge rares and 9 containing uncommon huges. This gives the 3:1 Uncommon to Rare Huge ratio.
For WotDQ we have been told that there will be 6 boosters in a case, with 2 containing huge rares and 4 containing huge uncommons, thus giving us a 2:1 uncommon to huge rare ratio.
As to the numbers, the WotDQ boosters will only contain 8 minis, not 9 like GoL. This will be:
1 Huge (Rare or Uncommon) 1 Rare 2 Uncommon 4 Common

| But there are only 16 regular uncommons (16 vs. 24). 1/3 less figures with 1/3 less slots (2 slots vs. 3 slots). Same total ratio.
In 2 cases (12 boosters) you'll get an average of 1.5 of each uncommon. This is the same as DK through UD.
