| It may seem trivial, but I hope WotC keeps changing the die color. It's a fun little thing to keep track of.
Of course only a couple of my white dice were worth keeping (stupid spindowns), but that's another issue. | | Champion of the Werewolf Lord, Knight of Anything Duergar, and Squire of Things Gnollish List reset with the start of previews for each new set...got Chainmail®?

| So far we had a white, orange and blue D20 in the starter sets. It´s good that they don´t go with the same colour everytime a starter is released.
I´ve seen a guy who used two orange D20´s from Abberations and boy oh boy does he had some bad luck with them! They always rolled results that he missed AC by one point, could never break conceal and managed to roll a ton of 1´s. | | German championship 12.05.07 in Berlin --------------------------------------------------------------------- Want to play DDM in Berlin, Germany? http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/dndminisberlin/

First thing I did after pulling the minis out of my starter was to toss it down for some test rolls... 20, 18, 20, 19, 1, 20...

I am not buying any more minis or anything. I mean come on how ridiculous. Blue? I just cant believe it. | Blue die = 7 crits for me at my release tourney (four in one match!)
Orange die = thrown across the room in frustration after rolling only 1 thru 4 most every time rolled
And the funny thing is, I'm not even superstitious!
Btw - I don't know I can confirm this or not, but I don't think the orange die ever rolled a twenty. (maybe once, but only maybe)

Oooh!
I like that idea! I wish I'd thought of it...but I haven't touched M:tG in years.
The oldest was looking at some M:tG cards this afternoon when I picked up my initial War Drums purchases (reminds me--I have to check a couple places for online prices...), and I just told her to put those down and step back slowly.
More to the point, a D20 with the symbol in place of the 1 or 20 would be absolutely brilliant! Shoe, are you seeing this?
It's too bad about the previous sets, though. But it would still be keen! | | Champion of the Werewolf Lord, Knight of Anything Duergar, and Squire of Things Gnollish List reset with the start of previews for each new set...got Chainmail®?

| Oh, and from the "weird, but it worked" file....I've used this method to "cure" dice of rolling badly: Just arrange the dice in a ring around the misbehaver and then explain that if the offender keeps up its poor performance that you will get a hammer and smash it in front of the other dice.
I haven't had to follow through on this one (yet). But it does seem to "motivate" the die. | | Champion of the Werewolf Lord, Knight of Anything Duergar, and Squire of Things Gnollish List reset with the start of previews for each new set...got Chainmail®?
