| I've seen one "defect" out of all the minis I've amassed: a headless Skeleton Warrior (and I don't consider that a defect...more of a bonus [:D]). Fortunately I've never received a bent/creased/dog-eared/torn card. I'll have to keep my fingers crossed since I expect two cases of War Drums tomorrow.
It definitely sounds like WotC is having quite a few quality control issues recently (Hellspike fiasco/Frost Dwarf/Damaged cards/Misprinted Broken Demongate). Let's hope this is a trend that gets nipped in the bud. | |

| I opened a booster which contained a HGB with his arm broken at the elbow.Luckily hes holding his tree limb with both hands.(no pun intended)

| (sigh) I've got to wait until tonight to dig through my first case of WD but in looking over this thread so far I wonder if the large amount of damaged or creased cards happened at the printers? Big machine, prints off huge sheets that get cut down to our individual cards. I can see someone at a cutting machine bending the large sheets to 'break' them apart and in turn creasing the last row of cards at the edge (got to tour a plant where they made baseball cards so I'm assuming its very similar).
Still, one more in the string of quality control issues plaguing Wardrums... Did anyone say anything to the WotC guys at Winter Fantasy when they came across these issues in their boosters/starters? Or has Shoe or any of them posted any comments as of yet? | |

| We sort 100s of cases per month here at Vesivus, and I can tell you that there are a lot of damaged cards (and miniatures) that come out of the boosters. The funny thing is, most of the damaged cards we pull are RARE cards -- the common and uncommon cards seem to escape damage.
I'm not sure why this is -- but it is frustrating...

Today my friend pulled a cardless chimera from a starter, 11 cards in intact bag, all other minis and cards have been fine, for now... (still waiting for 10 cases). | |

| | I had a damaged sacred watcher card, a damaged goblin blackblade card, and a wood elf ranger card which looks someone put a piece of scotch tape on it, then gently peeled it off. One starter kit, two boosters. B) not exactly top-quality stuff. | |

| | Got my first case of WD today. One concave Halfling Slinger card and one dogeared Goblin Blackblade. Everything else seems to be in good shape. Hopefully I can pull what I'm missing from the second case coming Thursday [:D] | |
