| While I love the new logo, I'd like the Chimera with the white goat and white black dragon horns off of it. It depresses me every time I see that logo and then look at the one I got. Not to mention the body colors!

I don't care. It's a nice logo and I like it. Just like I liked any previous logo. However, it's not any kind of sticking point for me.
Keep it, change it. Doesn't matter to me. Logos aren't why I'm here. | |

| This'll be the only way I get to see the Chimera for some time, so I'd just as soon keep it.
Of course, if it were to go away I wouldn't exactly be traumatized, either. I think it might be neat to see an "Good" vs. "Evil" logo, too. | |

| | I feel your pain. I actually made a comment of feeling bad when I see the logo as well, in the "War Drums paint color choices" topic. I do love the new logo, just reality hits when one realizes that the paint master and the actual product are miles apart, rather than a few yards. | |

| | Yep, I love the logo too, not cluttered and gives a nice idea of selection. It's not the crafter's fault the paint job on one of the creatures for the consumers was done poorly. So yeah, I like the logo and design, just not the paint job on the figure I have. :) | |

| I like the logo..But my issue waht that there were 2 creatures with Black Dragon heads. :)
By the way I have yet to see a Chimera in person. Am I hearing you right? The horns arent painted?
Whats different between the paintjob on the master and the real ones we are getting? | |

| | The main differences, I see, are with the overall lack of any white on the actual figure, mainly brown and black. The black dragon, in the master paint, also has greyish color for the horns, the horns on the one I pulled are all black. And as seen in the logo, there is no greyish color on the actual figure portion of the dragon's neck/chest area, just everything is a flat black with white teeth, (the only actual white on the figure) and red eyes. | |

The real ones look very different. Here are the things I immediately notice:

| my wife was even disappointed between the poster and actual mini.
as a side note I had my wife "help" me rip my case and used the poster for her to organize them in something resembling numeric order. It was fun. she had all kinds of ideas for how to play with dolls.
have I mentioned the "adult themed" relationship between Kuhmat and Warduke? or the jealousy between Trog thugs and Kuhmat? | |

| Personally I think it looks good. Obviously everyone will think something *they* do is better, but that may not be the case when others see it. You're always going to get some people who think they automatically can do better. So who knows. I wouldnt take it personal really.
It looks good, and its nice to see the different minis from each line in there together. Keep it until you get bored and feel like a new one, or there are more minis out and you want newer ones =) | |

Not much id change at all.
Maybe change the icon to the Red once we get an official WotC photo.
Dont change Vader!....I think hes perfect and isf my favorite part of the logo.

| edited to make it clear I am not accusing WotC of anything illegal here, just that I'm frustrated by the difference between the pictures on the poster and the previews, and the actual product delivered.
Hey, I love it. I like the design. While I'm no graphic artist, I am in communications, and this achieves the goals I would set out:
include all 3 lines
Make them "iconic"
put the name of the site in
I'm just annoyed by the "false advertising" that is the chimera in that picture. As pointed out below, this was not a promise by WotC, so I am not claiming they totally duped me. I just think that the picture ought to reflect the spirit of the effort. That is not true in the Chimera, Khumat, and Frost Dwarf for sure. I'm sure that annoyance will go away, but right now I just had to post my thoughts. | |

I know it is disappointing but I really don't recall if they ever ut it in print that you get what you see.

But as I said before, I do like the new logo. I'd love to see one more D&DM in there, but its all good. It *is* really nice to see all the lines in there, with the Black Dragon in the background.
