The pose of the Gargantuan Black is very similar to the Forge of Fury Huge Black dragon they released a few years ago and that is one impressive dragon. No similarity to dancing bears at all. | |

I don't think it will be an exact match of the master but it will be in the 75-85% range. I guess only. It will NOT be a War drums blunder-type paint job, that would be suicidal for the Icons line, not so much for the GBD but the CRD. | |

Having seen them both in person (or, at least the prototypes at Winter Fantasy, I disagree. The CRD doesn't look as good -- especially with its lower section seemingly disappearing into the ground, with legs attached very strangely at the sides. | |

I love the Large Black Dragon pose, and would gladly pay fifty-hundred dollars to get a gargantuan or collossal one in that pose (and more detailed, of course) | |

Just imagine the look on the players face when you pull it out for the first time and tell them they have woken him up from a wonderful dream involving 1000's of fattened horses and a virgin sacrifice....
I don't think they are gonna be comparing him to a dancing bear just quietly.
There will be plenty of "Oh Shit!", "Farrrrkkkkkkk!" and inevitably there will be "Where's the hoard" but I doubt very much there will be cries of "Well bugger me, will you just look at that, a mutant dancing Bear!" | |
