| Looks like they finaly made it. http://www.gamingreport.com/gallery/v/gamatradeshows/gts2006/wizkidsdinner/horror/cthulhu/ The HPL fanboy that I am, the $89 price tag won't stop me. I'll try to amazon the sucker, or work out a deal with my FLGS; I get two cases of Boosters + Free Cthulhu. | | Pathetic Earthlings. | Hmmm. did they take out the clix to conceal it's stats? or is it not a clix figure to begin with? I assumed it was part of its HorrorClix game...

| Yeah he's the "big" sendaway figure for the Horrorclix line. You can either pay $89 a pop for him, or if you buy a set of starters and two sets of boosters he's shipped free. I'm likely going to see what he goes for on Amazon/Ebay as a pre-order, if the price is too high there I'll work out something with my FLGS. With Cthulhu being the biggie for the set I'm hoping we will see some more HPL beasties as well.
Checking out the base I bet he can snap in and out of the giant clicky base. WK is just trying not to show us any of the details I guess. | | Pathetic Earthlings. | Wow... I've got to get my hands on that one! I wonder how much trouble it's going to be getting my hands on it while I'm in Europe. Looks like it's going to be even more expensive and diffcilut to get than Heroclix Galactus and Dark Phoenix. Why can't they just put it in stores, like the CRD and the GBD? US Convention exclusive... Sigh.
Ah well, if I do manage to find one it'll look great standing with HeroClix Galactus and the Icons Dragons :)

Last word I heard was that the models weren't going to be ready in time for the 2005 Halloween season so they pushed them back to Sept 06 for the 2006 Halloween season. Probably late September.
They are quite a bit smaller than the Horrorclix one - which is a plus for me, but not for everyone. (Like around 6" tall)
Even the Clix one isn't close to his true stature so it's just preference. Once you get into the 200-400' tall range you might as well just get a mask and stand on the table. | | Called Shot: Against the Giants -- Aboleth Called Shot: Demonweb - Large Whip Spider Another Champion of the Aboleth

| I have been watching the SOTA toys Cthulhu since the 2005 Toy Fair. Most sites have had it for pre-order since September.
As for the Horror Clixs $89 is to much for me to spend and I'm not that interested in the game to buy into it for a free one. | | Champion of the Rust Monster Proud Member of Team Amish

| Well it forced him to discorperate somewhat. When the ship plowed through and the sailors looked back, Cthulhu's flesh was flowing back into place. I've spoken to my FLGS about this, two pre-order cases of boosters and a couple of In-store demos will be netting me my Great Old One.
I am kinda peved with SOTA, been checking out their site for nearly a year now.
