| So I pre-ordered 2 cases from Creep1962 and even though he says they shipped the day before War Drums was released, I still don't have them.
If he did ship them when he says he did, then it's just the Post Office taking it's sweet time. I don't get it though, other's pre-ordered from other sources and got their cases a day or 2 after the set was released. By the time I get mine, no one will be trading WD's anymore!
Man this sucks. I'm like Ralphie checking the mailbox for the Little Orphan Annie decoder ring every day. | |

| I know how you feel ... I bought a complete set of Underdark (from another source) that was supposed to ship within days of the set release. I didn't get it until 8 weeks after release.
My advice: stick with the big guns when buying by the case. Saving a few pennies on Ebay is not worth the risk that you face there. it is better to buy from oameoutfitter or other established places with great track records... | |

| Creep is named that for a reason. He has a very questionable reputation with quite a few members on this board myself included. He often takes up to 2 weeks to ship items and if you question him about it he'll get pissy. Been there so trust me on that.

| I just got my Auggie's order, but I know I ordered a little bit later than everyone else, so i didnt mind waiting a week. It still worked out pretty well. I realize he has a bunch of orders to get through.
I'm sure there will still be lots of ppl trying to finish up War Drums for awhile now. Not everyone can finish their sets right away, so you should be all right. Thats practically what everyone wants right now anyways heh | |

Orders from Auggest might take a while (up to three weeks sometimes) but they ALWAYS arrive in excellent condition. That's why I've bought too much from him [:D]
For cases I had pretty good luck with both GO and with Dave and Adam's Card World. Both had me my cases of WD within a week of the release (and I only paid for 5 day ground so I can't complain).

But on another note me and a friend bought 4 cases of war drums on ebay back in december from a different seller. My friend emailed them and they said that they have not received their shipment so it is going to be a couple more weeks before we receive ours.[:(] | |

| I have always ordered my cases locally and have always had them in my hands on the release date. not Once did I have to wait. I have had to look at them piled in a corner and not be allowed with them for a week before the release date, but I never had them late.
I completed all of my trading within 24 of the release.
This sounds like another reason for me not to buy online. | |

| I have bought a number if mini's from Creep1962 over the past year, and although sometimes slow on the delivery, which he usually states in the auction as long delivery time, he has always delivered and well packaged.
Check out other sellers shipping charges, creep1962 is much more reasonable these days. Some sellers are charging $5-6 for a single mini! [:0]

As to pre-ordering I would take the suggestion of others and order from gameoutfitter. If I ordered cases on line then that would be the selection I would go with as I have read the reports from other members here and they are pretty glowing reports.

| that was for the auctions of cases for 89.. the 99 dollar auctions were 10 bucks (round figures and from memory).
I do find it amuzing that everytime this topic comes up, it becomes an Auggie love fest (which I join in). theres a ton of good vendors out there.. Auggie has a simple strategy but a limited selection. Im only about 15 minutes (no traffic) away from him right now.. I wonder if he has a brick and mortar store. | |

Well he says shipping could take 6-9 business days and he doesn't have control over USPS shipping times. Plus it's a little soon to be concidering negative feedback. I'm sure I'll get it, but it's looking like 3 weekends in a row now that I won't get to sort through my new minis.

No, you don't actually. If you place a preorder with gameoutfitter.com early enough then you will get your cases on the release day, guaranteed. I always place my order when they begin to take preorders and they haven't let me down yet. | |

| GO has been great except for a little hiccup last set when they shipped a bunch of cases as loose boosters. It's been correct now.
If you live in the Northeast, you will definately get you cases quick. The have a ship point in MA and ship UPS which means all of New England and a little beyond is only 1 day shipping!
I got my email for Wardrums on Wed 3/1 and recevied my cases on Thu 3/2.
As far as Auggies goes, I join the chorus, slow but you can't beat him.
As far as Creep1962, this time I would suggest you judge the book by his cover. | |

I'm pretty sure this was the earliest that GO started shipping a set out, at over the last year or so. The previous 3 or 4 sets were all shipped on the actual release date; with War Drums I received my shipping notice on Wednesday at 1:00 AM, and they'd been shipping stuff since the day before.
On the subject of ordering cases, I won't buy them from anyone who doesn't provide a tracking number. I thought about ordering through someone other than GO this set, and looked at various ebay sellers. Creep had good case prices (before shipping, at least), but when I saw he was shipping via the USPS, I immediately crossed him off the list.

I live in the middle of the country and I used to get my cases the monday or tuesday after release but I got wardrums wenesday before release. GO is based in MN but used to ship out of seattle, I think ,which is why west coast got there stuff first and east coast last and us in the middle(i'm in Illinios) somewhere in the middle. However my Wardrums cases came from there warehouse in MA so I think they have figgured out how to ship to everyone so thethey receive about the same time. If UPS delivered on saturdays I may have gotten my cases then in the past.
It could also be that WOTC is getting the product to the retailers sooner so they are prepared for the massive release on the day.They are ready so they just ship out tuesday before release instead of spending extra time setting up the shipments.
As to first wave I think GO orders so many cases now that everyone is in 'fist wave'. A week before release there website claimed you could still order 'first wave' DDM cases .

Man that does suck! Sorry to hear it man.
