| You know the new mini games from WOTC, that is a mix of magictg and wargames... what do you think about it?
infohttp://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dbm/welcome
I´m still wondering how it would be, i hope that brings good distribution, specially for collectors.
the game looks similar to many games: Hecatomb: for the feeling Magic TG: The placing of monsters and the fast the game seems D&DM: for prepainted miniatures Heroclix/Mageknight: Game stadistic in mini base Stratego: The map is simply but with some features Chess: Which wargame is not compared with this inmortal game?

| I intend to participate in the first tournament at Gen Con. I'm not certain that it will pull me away from DDM though. It certainly looks like a fun game.

| I can certainly see a use, in my D&D game, for those few minis that have been posted on the WotC website. Throw a few of those critters against a standard gaming group who has been together forever and see how they run....

| I'll probably buy a couple to sub in for D&D creatures we don't have minis for, like the chaos beast. But otherwise no--collecting D&D Minis is absorbing enough of my time and money, and for the most part they don't have the crossover appeal that DDM has into the RPG.
The only temptation WRT Dreamblade is that if it takes off, minis from the first set might ultimately command Harbinger-like prices on eBay, which would make buying a case or two early on a good investment. The big supposition is that it takes off like Magic or DDM, and doesn't flop like Chainmail did. | | | |

| Nice idea...
Buy a first edition case and then wait to sell them as harbringer for D&D, you have to wait maybe 2 or 3 years but, at first you could try the game and enjoy it then you could sell the minis at good prices! | | Knight of the Quori Champion of King Kaius III of Karrnath

| I'd have to echo some of the statements from earlier, I don't have enough time & money for DDM, so it's unlikely I will pick up a new hobby /game. I might pick up a few that make good D&D monsters or proxies... | | Champion of Minsc & Boo

I agree. DDM takes a lot of my disposable income; I tried keeping up with SW and AAM minis, but it just got too expensive. I use the minis for rpg, so unless the only Dreamblade mini I may get is a single that is especially cool or Lovecraftian for rpg.
