It boggles my poor little mind that so many people are so certain X11 is an eldritch giant.

Maybe I'm just easily boggled and just as easily deluded (or the eldritch giant talk was started by someone who's seen the leaked pics), but it looks almost embarrassingly obvious to me that the pic in question is not a giant at all, but some sort of monstrous humanoid. Look at the legs. Those aren't giant/humanoid legs - they're too bandy and the knee and foot of the left one make it look to me as if the creature is actually digitigrade. Compare it to X14 to see what I mean. My money is on it being a gnoll, tell you the truth.

Assuming this is a correct list:

Aspect of Bahamut - Ok
Aspect of Tiamat - Ok
Black Dragon with rider - Yea!
Dracolich - Yea!
Giant on Mammoth(preview x?) Yea!
Eldritch Giant(preview x?) - Ok.

Uncommons:
Purple Worm - Ok.
Bluespawn Godslayer - Ok!
Huge Fiendish Spider - Ok.
Huge Fire Elemental - Yea!
Mountain Troll(preview x?) - Yea!
mystery mini - ?

So I am liking it. :P

From 'eyeing' it, the Redspawn does look huge to me.. but I'm just hoping thats a picture error. A huge Redspawn would suck.

I'm a fan of the huges.. Dracolich, Tiamat, Purple Worm, Huge Fire, Huge spider, Huge Black..

Aspect of Bahamut - Looks great.
Aspect of Tiamat - Looks great, closest thing we've gotten to a hydra.
Black Dragon with rider - Looks great even with the sorceror.
Dracolich - Looks great.
Giant on Mammoth(preview x?) -The base on this does not seem to be Huge.
Eldritch Giant(preview x?) - Will pass judgement when I see it.

Uncommons:
Purple Worm - I definitely understand and really like the Huge conversion.
Bluespawn Godslayer - Looks pretty good.
Huge Fiendish Spider - Whatever. If it turns out to be a Retriever or Bebilith, I'll be happier.
Huge Fire Elemental - Great uncommon piece.
Mountain Troll(preview x?) - Tree with a cello. Will pass judgement when I see the actual thing.
mystery mini - I totally hope this is a Remorhaz and, if needed, one of the possible rares is bumped down to uncommon, or the mounted pachyderm is actually large and the real Huge for that spot is a Remorhaz.

I just really want a Remorhaz. I'd much rather see an actual one than use a Behir to proxy for it... Players get more intimidated when you plop down the monster they're fighting rather than some other monster and saying "you're actually fighting something else".

One problem that I am having is balance for Skirmish. As of right now it looks like maybe one LG piece (Aspect of Bahamut, if that is what it is). There seems to be a real lack of good pieces in the huge category.

I agree, if you look carefully at the height/width ratio of the bases of the leaked figs, you can clearly see that

Fig 1 (Bahamut ?) is Huge
Fig 2 (Bluespawn) is Huge
Fig 3 (Lizard thingy) is Large
Fig 4 (Twig Blight ?) is Medium
Fig 5 (??????) is Large
Fig 6 (Mounted Talenta) is Medium
Fig 7 (Howling Dragon ?) is Large
Fig 8 (Dracolich) is Huge
Fig 9 (Corpse Colector) is Large
Fig 10 (Fire Elemental) is Huge

Of the remainder, 11, 13 and 16 look Huge, whilst 12, 14 and 15 look large although I would need to see the final piccies to be sure-ish.

FWIW: I would tend to think that the Eldritch Giant might be an uncommon, not a rare, if it is tomorrow's mystery mini as so many people believe. The paint is pretty easy for such a large frigure... if they follow the MM III design.

Personally, I think the red thing is a medium figure with an incomplete base in the preview (not the first time) because of the width of the glare on the base.

My bets:

Aspect of Tiamat - HR
Huge Dracolich - HR
Preview X #16 (Something on Elephant/Mastodon)- HR
Mounted Black Dragon - HR
Preview X #1 (Something of Bahamut) - HR

Bluespawn Godslayer - HU
Huge Fire Elemental - HU
Huge Finedish Spider - HU
Purple Worm - HU
Preview X # 11 (Eldrtich Giant)- HU
Preview X # 13 (Giant with Club) - HU

I think Preview X #s 3, 7, 12 and 14 are not huge.

That leaves us with 1 more huge rare - and I'm hoping for a Nalfeshnee.

We've seen red and blue clear plastic so I'll guess the last slot is Huge Water Elemental.

Boy, if that's true, then this set will really turn into a dud for me as far as huges go. An elemental would be cool, but a huge set without a huge demon would be a titanic waste IMHO.

What if the last huge is another rider on a dragon? You know how they balance things out - Huge Red & Huge Gold in GoL, Aspects of Tiamat & Bahamut in this set (speculation mind you). If we have a Sorceror on a Black Dragon, would it not stand to reason that we would also get a good huge with rider?

Paladin on huge Silver Dragon
Wizard on huge Copper Dragon
Cleric on huge Bronze Dragon
or
Swashbucking Rogue on Brass Dragon

Or maybe it will be a Giant Space Hamster with Gnome Cavalry.
