| Hey all, I don't remember and until recently it didn't matter to me, but what is the cut off for an automatic invite to the championships...and what is the cut off date? For instance, is it the Top 25 in the US...the World...North America...and what is the date you have to maintain that ranking by to receive the invitation?
Do you get an email, or something in the mail?

| Top 25 in the world. It is determined after the last qualifier. They post who has invitations on their web site.
Going to try to make it in on ranking? | | I am not gone.

| | Nah, I've got two qualifiers to make an attempt, I just wasn't sure if I could walk into the qualifiers and know I've already got an invite. I've never really cared about ranking much, b/c good players can beat other good players regardless of a number in someone's computer. I've just recently really began to make large strides up in rankings...to my surprise and was curious what benefit it might have. Thanks for the quick response. | | | |

| | Yeah, if you are in the Top 50, you can be reasonably sure you will get a rank-based invite (because of all the higher ranked people who are removing themselves based on qualifiers.) Below that? Probably not. | | I am not gone. | |

| | I heard that a travelling bard is going to go door to door and let the invitees know... like a singing telegram. This info comes from ill tempered rat-monkey spies who are not always trustworthy sources... but then again, they did know that it was the Axe that is named Snig [)] | | Champion of Remorhaz, and the Mighty Goblin Frog Riders | |

| | A singeng telegram would be a *great* way to let ppl know that they have been selected on rank. That way everyone around knows that the guy is really good at D&D minis. Wonderful idea =] | | Champion of a Knight of Takhisis/Knight of Neraka | |

It would be if they were sure you were home when they came. I'd hate to see the bard who comes to my door when I'm out. My dogs would give him/her a heart attack the way they spazz.

At home? They should send it to your workplace so that everyone there knows that they are working with a highly talanted DDm player!
