| The big questions are 1) what's riding it? and 2) what size is it?
Definately some sort of proboscidian mammal.

| | Judging by the look of the base and the fact that standard elephants are huge, I'd say this has to be some kind of giant on a mammoth or elephant. My guess is frost giant on war mammoth. | | | |

| Hello,
I think a giant of some sort on a Mammoth or Elephant is most likely.
I know that the possibility is mentioned in Frostburn, but not illustrated.
Five more days and we will know.

| | I'm with Omand. I think it's a "Frost Giant on Dire Wooly Mammoth." And it will have that exact 6-word figure name, following the example of the "Sorcerer on Black Dragon". | | Champion of the Rakshasa. Check out my Mini Terrain Maker, or my new Dungeon Map Maker (under development). | |

Your math perplexes me....[?]
Sorcerer on Black Dragon is 4 words/7 syllables. Maybe I'm missing something....
If Omand's prediction is correct I'd assume it would be titled "Mounted Frost Giant (Jarl)." Jarl is optional [:D] | | Knight Warlord a.k.a. Commander (#32) in only 6 months. Where's my pie? Champion of Dwarven Thunderlashers Knight of the Large Dire Chicken Have/Want List Trade References

As to X #16. I hope that it is a frost giant on big wooly pachyderm with the abacus of doom.....[:o)]

| OMG, this one's being posted tomorrow!
I was talking with Millygoat and we pretty conclusively figured out what it is. If you look at the silouhette right, it's clear that it's a Wooly Mammoth.
And then you can see a Medium White Dragon riding the Mammoth. And a Kobold riding the dragon, and a Mephit riding the Kobold, and then a Stirge riding the Mephit.
I'm not sure if there's a wizard's toad familiar riding the Stirge or not. It's hard to tell from just the outline. | | Champion of the Rakshasa. Check out my Mini Terrain Maker, or my new Dungeon Map Maker (under development).

Bah, we differ on one critical point though. I say the stirge is fiendish, Benni claims that it's normal. I mean, why would a normal stirge be riding a mephit!?! It's lunacy. It's obviously fiendish. | | Jason Kean
