| Id love a minic...Id prefer the treasure chest with teeth and tenticles over the chest with arms in the 3rd editon MM.
Is a Thoqua (lava worm thing) an aberration or an elemental? I REALLY want one of those.
A deepspawn would be really cool to. Are they Huge or Large? | |

I see you have two huges there: Aboleth and Athach. Didn't expect that because huges seem to be another matter, but those two would be great. They are some of my favorites for next huge set.
I suppose Atachs are aberrations for their third arm, kind of mutated creature it seems... | |

Also the Illithadae (i think thats how you spell it) from the lords of Maddness book they look really bizarre but would make great minis. | |

In Monsters of Faerun if I remember correctly. They look like a big reddish sphere with a large sharp teeth mouth and long tentacles, some of which wield weapons and even shields. | |

My most wanted aberration is the Aboleth. My most wanted non-huge, non-aquatic aberration is the Phaerimm. Come on, they come in age categories, like dragons. And they're evil sorcerers that desire the anihilation of all other races! And they look like giant sunflowers attached to windsocks! How can you not love that? | |

That was my thinking too. A giant with an extra arm is an aberration, but a giant with an extra head is a giant? I really just think someone screwed up in the MM and they just never fixed it. | |

Part of it is the lore about them, the chapter on aboleths in Lords of Madness was quite cool. Also, theres nothing I've found which comes close to looking like them. | |

As in Little Mermaid "Under the Sea" campaigns? I've never run them. However, our al-Quadim campaign had a lot of travel to the ruined kingdoms and the nearby islands, so there was a few adventures where the party had to load up on water breathing spells and items.
You dont realyl need to run an aquatic campaign to feature an aboleth though. They primarily live in the underdark, so you can have them as an antagonist there. One will appear in an upcoming session I'm running where it lives in the sewers/canal of an area.
Also bear in mind, most aboleths are casters, so could have some kind of flight spell memmed (in addition to their land speed). Being psionic, with their wisdom, they also qualify for the Speed of Thought feat, which boosts their land speed to 20, and makes an infinitely better choice than the stupid crap fest of feats they were given (combat casting and alertness). While not breaking any world records, its perfectly passable. | |
