| Because WotC does not support Dragon Lance any more. It was spun off.
The only campiens they are still producing for are Eberon and Forgotten Realms. There is lots of desire for Dragonlance, Ravenloft, Dark Sun, Hollow world, Space Jammer, and Greyhawk but it would be tough to try and give all of those dead and semi-dead campiegns a decent showing.
I'm betting that after they run the current books stock of monsters lower they will start to dip into the older game systems to keep things going. | |

| This has been covered A LOT (the last time just like two days ago).
WotC HAS NOT sold off DL, they just licensed it to Sovereign Press. There's nothing in that agreement that we know of that would prevent WotC from releasing more DL figures, however.
The short of it is that no one knows why, and we're unlikely to be given any type of answer. | |

The question is why not make more?
If the other 3 races of Draconian were made alot of this Drgonlance wanting would dry up....Not completly but it would by alot. | |

I've seen you make this claim repeatedly. Any data to back this up? Did you check out the dragonlance.com/community forums yet?
Everytime I see this issue come up here or at WotC, there seems to be considerable (but not universal) interest in a few more Dragonlance minis. The top requests seem to be Raistlin, the remaining draconians, a knight of Solamnia (perhaps Huma or Sturm), and then the companions.
I'm not surprised there were no DL minis in this set. They said as much at Winter Fantasy. They also said we would see a few sometime in the future, but they didn't specify what, how many, or when. | |

Well we have seen 4 so far and more to come one day, I'd bet. Give it time. My are seeing a lot of Eberon right now, and maybe some Ravensloft coming soon. Who knows what the next set after after that may hold... maybe a whole DL theme... which will tick off everyone else. | |

Yes. Their products outsell Dragonlance products. More places carry FR/Eberron products, and in a larger selection. If dragonlance sales were beaqting FR or Eberron, wouldnt the opposite be true?
Better yet, YOU prove that Dragonlance products come close to FR or Eberron in sales if you want to suggest you're "the masses". I see people wanting dragonlance minis. The same 15 or so who yowl and bang their pots and pans together every set, make irrational claims that Shoe hates them, etc. Stop acting like spazzes, and I'll respect your desires more. | |

| I know some very dedicated fans of the books that might buy minitaures if the Dragonlance Companions were made.
My brother does not collect miniatures at all. But I sent away for that Knights of the Silver Dragon, Med Silver Dragon, and he has kept it in his display case with his Windstone Dragons. He is a big fan of the Dragonlance books and if the companions were made, (Goldmoon, Flint, Sturm, Fizban!, Tasslehoff, Raistlin, Caramon, Riverwind, Tanis, etc.) he would want to collect them. It might be just enough to get him to start collecting.
The Legend of Huma is very special to my wife. She cried through the last quarter of the book, (SPOILER ALERT) - when she finally revealed that she was not only the silvery haired woman he loved(polymorphed), but also his Dragon. If a miniature of Huma and his Silver Dragon Heart were made, my wife might finally be ok with my crazy miniature addiction.
Kaz the Minotaur would be cool too, he was a great character.

1- I've never argued that DL fans are the "masses", just that there is a significant demand for these products. As others have pointed out, SP Dragonlance sourcebooks consistently sell out very quickly and there is considerable activity on their forums and interest in their products. Do they sell more than FR or Eberron? Absolutely not, but there is still a considerable demand for these products.
2- Show me one example where I've behaved as you describe in requesting DL minis: i.e., "yowl and bang their pots and pans together every set, make irrational claims that Shoe hates them, etc." or for that matter acted like a "spaz".
3- In regards to point #2, insults and personal attacks are strictly forbidden in Merric's posting guidelines for this site. While I don't think you've crossed that line in your posts, calling people "irrational" and "spazzes" is cutting it extremely close IMO. It's perfectly acceptable to disagree with people and discuss those disagreements, just be careful when directly criticizing other people on these forums.

| Ask yourself one question. Why is Drizzt $70 on ebay? The answer is fans of the novels. There are a comparable number of fans of the Dragonlance Chronicles. Raistlin, the most popular of the heroes, though not my favorite of the Heroes of the Lance, that honor belongs to Tas, would also be highly sought after by the rabid fans.
comparing rpg book sales for the lines is not going to give an accurate accounting. The relative few of us, a mere drop in the bucket when compared to the novel fans, who buy the Dragonlance rpg books, are not the only ones who would like to see them made. | |

I am sorry if this thread has come up before as i have not seen it amd was wondering if there was a reason why DL mini's havn't been in the last 3 or 4 set's thats all soory if i rubbed someone the wrong way that was not my intention | |
