| | You know what I like about this set? So far it seems a "no BS" set to me. I dont see many stuff that has potential to be crap like Ponda Baba and Dr. Evazan, or other quite useless (in my opinion) pieces. In fact, almost all the pieces seem useful in some way or another. Now we need the stats to confirm that. | | "I know exactly what I'm doing" - famous last words.

| | Interesting. If I collected SWM, this set looks really cool. As a "fringe" collector for D&D purposes, I cannot tell if there are any that I will try to get for D&D RPG. There's a lot of lightsabers in this set (at least 24)--which is excellent and fits right in with the Champions of the Force theme. | | "Look to God and live." | Since I don't skirmish SWM, not much to thrill me in CotF.
From an RPG perspective.....
For a Star Wars game I'm playing in, I'll take an Old Republic Soldier. Fits my character to a 'T'. I also want an HK-47 [:D]
For D&D crossover there's just not much. Mas Amedda could make a nifty Tiefling Wizard/noble. Qui-Gon could be easily modified. Dark Trooper Phase I could make a passable enlarged Warforged. I'm sure I could find a use for Gundarks. Maybe I'll start snagging Ugnaughts to use as gnomes [:(]
From a Star Wars fanboy perspective: Sweet Set! Lots of KOTOR. Siddious looks great. That is definitely a LOT of lightsabers. | | Knight Warlord a.k.a. Commander (#32) in only 6 months. | | Wow. You know, it's sad...I'm actually more excited about this than I am about War of the Dragon Queen - and I pretty much got out of SWM around Universe because I was having too much trouble collecting both DDM and SWM. Damned if this set doesn't make me want to siphon funds away from WotDQ and buy a few cases of CotF. Jedi and Sith galore! | | | |

| | This is truly the set I've been wanting since Rebel Storm. The prequels were rather mediocre, if not downright disappointing, so I couldn't get excited by Clone Strike or Revenge of the Sith. Universe had some extra boost by the Huges, but I was completely indifferent to the Vong and other EU stuff. But this... More than a third of the set are weilding lightsabers! And there's the two mounted cannon pieces! And the Gundark, Massassi Sith Mutant, and Coruscant Guard can all find homes in my D&D games. Hell, with so many great Jedi and Sith pieces, I may even break out the Star Wars RPG books and start up a game. A dream come true. | | | |

| | Very nice. Of course, it seems that I'm going to run into the same problem that keeps me from fully embracing SWM, which is the virtual impossibility of getting the characters closest to my heart (stupid VR). Still, it's cool enough to get me going to a prerelease tourney, so who knows. | | "Call no man happy til he is dead" -E Cobham Brewer | |

| I agree about this being the worst set. I've read many of the books, so I am not ignorant of who some of the characters are I find that there are only a few here that I really want. I use them for RPG, so having a complete set really doesn't matter.
I have the first 3 sets complete, but because of the very rare minis, and only seven in a box, I find it hard to complete sets and get enough of the uncommons to use as fodder for RPG. I gave up with Universe as far as completing sets. It's just to damn expensive considering I want to complete my D&D sets, with multiples of some figs.
