| I just read a few articles in the issue and really would love minis for a few of the creatures within-
Kostchtchie
Thrall of Kostchtchie - human or ogre
White Dragon
Remorhazes
Frost Worms
Frost Giant Frost Mage
UC Giants - Fire, Frost & Stone
Xen'drik drow - Scorpion Wraith, firebenders, shaman/druid, rangers, etc

| I agree. What a great issue of Dragon! I was totally fascinated reading the Kostchtchie article before bed last night. Great stuff.
I'd be excited for any of the minis you've listed. I'd even take some of the new demons from the Kostchtchie article as well.
It occurred to me that the Hunched Giant would make a good Aspect of Kostchtchie mini: A hideously malformed giant weilding a giant sized maul.

| With the exception of the Hag and the (Eberron specific) Drow, I pretty much agree.
After reading this Demononicon, I'm thinking I'm going to have to go through some back issues and collect prior ones just in case... | |

| Ah... Kostchtchie, demon lord of frost giants.
Does anyone have a copy of that old classic Dragon Magazine showing a cover of Kostchtchie about to bash two hapless men?
It was a great artwork that inspired me to make an adventure with a similar encounter. Easily one of my favorite Dragon covers of all time.
In fact, an artwork from Fiendish Codex I paid homage to it:
I've since lost my copy of it more than a decade ago. Does anyone still have a copy of that cover?

| Useless trivia: I remember one of the section dividers in one of the 2nd edition Monstrous Compendium offerings had that art on it. Of course, mine was destroyed when my friend's basement flooded.

I'm pretty fond of the little guys, too. But I'd rather that the minis looked somewhere inbetween the other worlds and Eberron.
So far, I've been pretty pleased. The only thing that's [mildly] irked me was the scorpion armor on one of the Drow. But I'm "old school" (Lolth is their Demon Queen, and there are no others) with my Drow.
So, if we could get a few lightly armored Drow that looked somewhere inbetween I'd be pretty happy. | |
