| | My comic/Dungeons and Dragons store that already orders from WoTC wants to know how to sign up to receive retailer kits. I've been pushing them and they've finally agreed to let my friends and I come to their store to run our games. The problem is they don't know what steps to take to become an "official DDM retailer" to get the kits. I've taken it upon myself to gather as much info as I can to speed the process along. I'm hoping to draw enough attention to the store and increase the interest in playing. Any and all advice is welcomed! Thanks in advance! | | Positive trades: Tactician, Talistran, Chad the DragonLordofAiur x2, Favorite_1, Blackblood, mykbuckley, cooter926, Thorgrin, James the True

| Just have them write to customer support. I checked into it at one time when I was contemplating opening a game store in my home town.
The store will need to have space available for people to play, you have to send in photos. If it's just a place to buy from but not play at, they won't be able to get them.

| | on this topic, how do you start retailing with Wizards from nothing? I work for a Baseball card shop and was wondering how you even get started. Their site and Hasbro's don't say anything about becoming an official retailer, just info on how to get these kits. I take it you just have to write something up to customer service like for this? | | | |

| Yeah, again, just contact Wotc and they can give you the details on their distributers.

If WotC can't help you directly (you have to have a physical storefront to direct-order from Wotc IIRC), they should certainly be able to direct you to your regional distributor. | | Knight Warlord a.k.a. | If you local store is already ordering from WOTC directly, have them talk to their sales rep. I order mine as I would any other product.
One word of warning - they sell out quickly. I've had problems on more than one occasion. Have your store talk to their sales rep, and book them as early as they can. They may have to send them out on their own instead of with other stuff. WOTC won't hold them until your store is ready to order (ie other stuff as well).
