| The ToC for MM4 is available on the WotC site, and there are 14 Spawn of Tiamat, taking up 36 pages of that book. I'll list them in a moment.
Blackspawn Raider Blackspawn Stalker Bluespawn Ambusher Bluespawn Burrower Bluespawn Godslayer Bluespawn Stormlizard Greenspawn Leaper Greenspawn Razorfiend Greenspawn Sneak Redspawn Arcaniss Redspawn Firebelcher Whitespawn Hordeling Whitespawn Hunter Whitespawn Iceskidder
DDM wise, there's the Bloodhulk, Dwarf Ancestor, Lolth's Sting, Drow Arcane Guard, Justice Archon, Lolth-Touched Monstrous Spider, and Wrackspawn.
I don't see very many older converted creatures, but there's a bunch of statted-out regular creatures (drow, lizardfolk, githyanki, gnolls, ogres, orcs, and so on). | | Hypethetical Blood War Set List | Champion of the Gelugon | Vindicated Prophet of Blood War Ha 69/80 | De 60/60 | Ar 57/60 | GoL 72/72 | Ab 60/60 | DK 60/60 | AF 60/60 | UD 59/60 | WD 57/60 | WDQ 3/60| BW Total DDM Count: 1037 | No chance of finishing the set | Will finish the set | Set

Only if "all" means "everybody except Sammael." You'll love them, of course, since I'm sure they'll push them into as many adventure modules as possible.

| Hmmm... seeing existing monsters all templated and stuff is an interesting twist. True, I could do it myself, but this might clue me in to some new possibilities. I wonder if it has unique prestige classes for some races, like the githyanki?
And if there are some adventures and maps, I may give it a go. In fact, I'll go check on the ToC now...

And, um. Unfortunately, I don't RPG despite wanting to, but I don't see what's so bad about a manual expanding on racial themes and content at length. I always just imagined the description going something like this...
You find before you a creature that defies explaination. One leg of the creature is far shorter than the other, as if one leg were human and the other dwarven. The creature has a strange bone weapon in one of its three hands. | From what I can see it looks like a lot of the pieces that were generic or unique (Bloodhulk, WTF, Lolth's Sting, Lolth-Touched Spider, etc) have been defined. I haven't decided if this is a good thing or not. I liked the idea of the Lolth-Touched spider just being a "spider" and not anything special. Now the question of "Is this just a normal giant spider?" needs to be asked. It might be nice as well to find out what exactly the WTF is...
I guess I'll have to see when the book is available and I can take a look through it.

Well that you can answer right now. Just look at the RPG stats on the card. Are they the stats for a Medium Monsterous Spider from the MM? If not maybe it has the Lolth-Touched template on it. :) | | Champion of the Skulk Vindicated Champion of the Twig Blight

| Wil Upchurch's thoughts from ENWorld on the lack of "new" monsters:
quote: Don't overlook this book, and don't judge it by a perceived lack of content. I *love* the MM IV, it's really inspiring me in a way that nothing has in a long while. The expanded content for each monster is very interesting and useful, and more than makes up for the "low" total number of monsters presented. In addition, the content is varied and uses a lot of sources that you haven't traditionally seen in a Monster Manual. Overall I think this is the best Monster Manual yet.
That is quite the endorsement. For those that don't know him, Wil has many, many RPG design credits on his resume. | | Fastest dropping DCI ranking on record! Champion of Juiblex
