| | I just realized the whole 16 boosters per case thing and since I did not take that into account, my guess of $4.07 a booster is far beyond the limit given(it winds up being $911.68[:0]). If I am allowed another guess(hopefully) and if this isn't taken(too darn lazy to check every single post and would rather opt for more hoping) I would like to submit a new guess of $3.06 per booster. If someone coincidently clarifies this was already taken, may I have yet another guess if it is not too late? I know it can be quite tiring to accept it and say "fine but I hope you don't mess up again otherwise this is going to be one killer headache". | |

| Ha ha this is funny. Congrats on the find! I know some of these places get stuff that is worth it's weight in gold to collectors, and just junk to everyone else. If they just wanted to get rid of it I could understand fining it really cheap.
My guess $.67 each. If you offered them a low price and they took it for the lot, and factored taxes in, this number could be it.
I haven't read all 10 pages here (I do have some other things to do today), so I hope this is different from everyone else.

My reasong for the ammoun is thus:
The minis are in case, not individual boosters. This the price would not likely be set per-booster. Thus the only real viable option were a per-case or overall lot-price.
I had to choose one so I reasoned that the seller knows sod-all about the value of the items and, given the number of cases, he would give a per-case price so as not to risk killing the sale with a potentially too-high bulk rate.
When presented with an off-the-cuff situation like this the seller is unliekly to say "Okay, how about $33.95 per case" and is far more liekly to pick a simple, round number and $20 is a good break-point (not too high, not too low) that most people with even a passing interest would likely accept for at least a case or two. So 14 cases at $20 each...well, you do the math.
I made a bunch of assumptions and they could very well all be totally wrong - indeed even if I am right and the seller did say $20 per case he might have offered a discount if Tal took them all - but I'm locked in now so I'm stuck with $1.25 per booster for good or ill.
I would have gone with $1.25 because he must have paid $19.99 per case. After all, all the good deals on TV are $19.99...but wait...there's more... | |

Talistran is one of the most generous people I've met...and I live in a state in which there is a lot of generous people. Sounds like Sulaco was right again (give away boosters full of $100 bills and there will be complaints about how they were folded).

I'll go with about .45 cents a booster. Yeah, I know... crazy guess.
But who knows! If they'd been sitting around that long the place may have been glad to get rid of the lot for $99.99. It's apparent they didn't know what they had. Oh, and if .45 cents is taken already (too many guesses to read through) and doubles are disqualified, I'll go with .44 cents as a second guess and .46 cents as a third guess. Hope all those aren't taken!
I'm very curious as to what you actually paid for these puppies!

| Well, my guess is $1.06 per booster with tax, which seems like something an outlet would do. You would have paid $224 plus $14 tax, pretty flat numbers, and the pennies involved would be once you divide the .0625 tax rate into each one, unless it was Salt Lake and then it would be .066 or $1.07 per booster.
Well, I am prone to think things through way too much, but c'est la vie.
I was thinking how amazing it is that some people have so much luck, then I got to the page that said you were from Orem and I almost cried. It is different when you think some guy somewhere found a steal. Then you find out he found the steal in your neighborhood. Ouch.
Well, when this is all said and done, tell me where this outlet is. I want to find good prices on things, even if I don't strike gold. If it is the outlet I am thinking of that I've shopped at before, then I will really be depressed.
You are a very kind soul. Utah seems to have quite a few of them. You are a gem!

(Sorry, guys, I've been having trouble with the site and I can't take the time to go through the horde of guesses... have to pick up the missus.)
