| | I have here with me 4 unopened Archfiends booster packs and they are taunting me, "open me, open me." I want to crack them open but I almost have the set completed and know that the sealed packs will still go up in value. What would you do if you were in my shoes? | | Completed transactions: 40 | |

This is what I would do. Your waiting game is one tht could never end. You can always wait a little longer to see if the price goes higher, so why wait? Instead of selling the singles, now you have a buffer of figures for trades. Those rares will be excelent for trades in later sets as you might get 2 or 3 rares for each rare in the set. | | Completed trades: blackthorne, Drakkengi,Thorgrin, Ironfist Boulderbender x2, ckissee, nasamonkey, Username, Star, Ace13 x3, emontedodger x2, Drconveyor, church, Joeyb, Sir Bozak The Damned, Xeromod, the other guy x2, Qucalion of Celene, Dagaron x2, berus316, qillan_dvra, AshloreDarkShadow

| | Just imagine if you pulled Drizzt out of one of those packs. You could sell him alone for the price you might get selling the sealed packs. It's worth the risk, I think, to just open them. | | "Before God we are all equally wise - and equally foolish." - Albert Einstein Champion of Myopic Half-Orcs Winner, WBC X | |

| I had the same dilema when buying a case of underdark. Keep the for sale later or open them.
Opened and pulled Balor, Artemis, Dwarf Ancestor, Marut, Large deep dragon, Justicator, Helmed horror, Hunched Giant, Mounted Drow Patrol, Roper, Slayer of Domiel, Death Slaad.
I was happy I opened them!!

| | Do not open them. Over time, stuff like this will appreciate in value like crazy. Unopened wax packs of baseball cards from the 1950's command a massive premium over the opened stuff. Of course, there will be more sealed stuff from newer collector items because of speculation, but over time many of these will get opened as well. | | Over 270 successful online DDM trades. | |

| | Personally I cant imagine not opening them. I'm very curious when it comes to this kind of stuff and I'd definetely want to know what kind of Archfiends goodies you would get. I think you had relatively good pulls, I wouldnt be dissapointed with them I guess. Hill Giant and Clay Golem are pretty cool. I use Unicorns every once in awhile with Druis and such, so i dont find that one a waste either. I can understand your reaction. I had fair share of those too. But ultimately, it was the fun of ripping open those boosters and the joy (or horror) of finding what's inside that always reinforce my desire (or weakness) to open them. | | | |
