Pick someone to trade with and contact a few of the users in their reference thread, to make sure they can be trusted. That easy.

Highlight the link, right click your mouse, press copy, click on your address bar, right click again, press paste, then hit enter.
Another way to check on a trader is to click on the little green icon with a "T" near their avatar. That'll show you a list of the person's trades, as well as the feedback that their trade partner gave to them. | |

| As long as you used the trade interface to make the offer and track its completion it will show up. Both parties have to record the trade as complete or it will show as an "open trade" rather than a "completed trade".
