| i also want a small swarm of them, the lack of paint should make them easier to collect but i haven't found that yet.
hopefully the fact that they are weak in skirmish will eventually make them easily found rares. | | Trades: Complete: 134 Ongoing: 1 BAD: 2 = Cha0tic g0od, Thor <--- thief and a liar Champion of the Aspect of Yeenoghu, Demon Prince of Gnolls and Bigby

| | I'm actually quite surprised by this thread. I didn't realize there were that many who actually wanted Chasmes. It's been a long time since I have actually heard that someone liked the Chasme at all. It's considered a cheap rare around here. | | "Look to God and live." | | I didn't realize that the Chasme was a hard to get rare either. It's good for some RPG campaigns but I wouldn't consider it a monster that you would encounter often - though when you do encounter it you encounter a swarm of them. I would think that the people that are looking for four or more Chasme's are balanced out by the people that will never use Chasme's in their game or who are skirmishers and don't want any. But apparently in some area's there's a number of people who want multiples. But that's why we trade online. | | Champion of Gromph Baenre | |

| | I was a little surprised by this thread as well. I've had a Chasme available for trade on my list for quite some time, and have completed around 20 trades since Blood War was released. I can't remember anyone asking for the Chasme. Nice that we're all different, and need/want different minis. | | Over 270 successful online DDM trades. | |

| | The Chasme was, for some reason, the rare that took me the longest to trade for. When I was looking, very few were available, and on the occasion that I found one, I just didn't happen to have what the person was looking for in return. Now I have 2, which I'm happy with. Though once my brother gets his tax return and can order a couple cases, I'll gladly trade him my extra if he needs it. If he doesn't need it, may still dump my extra at some point. | | "Before God we are all equally wise - and equally foolish." - Albert Einstein Champion of Myopic Half-Orcs Winner, WBC X | |

| | I will also point out that, although not a power piece in skirmish, the Chasme is a distinct creature with distinct abilities. A very fast flyer with two uses of a sleep 'aura'? Is there anything else like it? That uniqueness makes it desireable to some skirmishers. Some people try to build suboptimal warbands that are fun to play as well as warbands that are tier 1 competitive. | | Champion of Meepo _*_ Myztek on the Wizards Boards. _*_ (2206 DDM on 03/06/06) Please note: The use of the indicates an attempt at humor ... often a bad attempt. | | Yeah, I was actually thinking it would be fun to mess around with King Obould and a Chasme or two. If you get Obould close to the enemy then use the Chasme to put a couple guys to sleep, you could use the tactics thing to do a lot of damage in one phase. | | "Before God we are all equally wise - and equally foolish." - Albert Einstein Champion of Myopic Half-Orcs Winner, WBC X | |

| Im thinking the Chasme might be handy with a Caller in Darkness band. After all, it puts a few things to sleep and the Caller can just remove them. Otherwise I cant see him getting too much skirmish action in the near future. | | 'nuff said, AC | |

| You're spot on there puff_maul, "if you're lucky". Ive been running around a few times with Gravetouch Gouls and a Caller doing my nasty work (took down a Virtuous Charger the other day in round 2 and sent my mate home in tears)
.... anyway, back to Chasme .... yeah, his paint job is semi ordinary! | | 'nuff said, AC
