| Whenever I see the name Cormyrean War Wizard I always think Curmudgeon War Wizard. It cracks me up every time
Also, thanks to Unhallowed, I now have a running joke with the D&D players I DM for (at their expense). I like to look at my 'Intellect Devourer' mini and say to the players, "Intellect Devourer? Eh, I guess it would be pointless attacking you guys with this thing".
Next session, when I say it again and they give me those same unamused glares, I'll finish it off with "....actually, they act as a brain and can control a body...maybe I'll give Burm one as treasure" (the PC Half-Orc).

| | The 2 things I enjoy most of all, ironically, are 2 of the minis that I initially despised the most. The Ogre Executioner and the Torturer. I spent so much time in Chat with Yack, Darkfather, Raland and everybody making fun of these 2 and their executioner predecessors, that I not only developed a fondness for them, I am developing an entire campaign (and PrC) around their sinister cult and their Dark Overlord Choppemov. I need Ogre Executioners, so if you don't want yours, see my trade list!!! | | Oh, what sad times are these when passing ruffians can say "Ni" at will to old ladies. -Roger the Shrubber | |

Heh, I see them more as 'The Thing' hands from Fantastic Four. My nephew got some of those large foam Thing hands and when you punch something with them, the Things voice plays & says, "It's clobberin time"! Thanks, now I'm going to look at the Shield Guardian and think, "It's clobberin time".

| That's it, only make them Green and go "Rargh!" when you hit things. Marvel didn't have to go far to get two toys out of that idea.

| The whole set seems very strong to me, both for RP and Skirmish.
I actually like the Wizard of Turnips, as I usually play a carpet-mounted caster when I can/ am allowed.
I was actually pretty please with my case pulls, and I didn't get 3/4 of the rares I wanted to. That represents a good set to me.

I hate to just say, "ditto", but this was something I forgot to say in my post as well. When I saw the display case at DDXP I thought some of these uncommons had to be rares they were so good. Thanks for the reminder.

| Caller in Darkness... I've got plans for this one!
I also thought it was great to get 2 more large dragons, and the Beholder Lich it too cool for words.
Also, there were several minis that initially I thought would just blow chunks but instead turned out to be rather cool looking. Caller in Darkness was actually one of them which quickly became my favorite uncommon from the set. Shield Guardian, Devourer, and Strahd were others that looked much better than their previews... though I still don't like the fact that Strahd overhangs his base so much, he is really much cooler looking than I had thought he would be.
All in all, I like this set looks-wise. There are only a few that I thought were bad. Many of the uncommons and commons were superb.

| I enjoy the fact that if you paint the Nessian Warhound white he looks just like Spuds Mckenzie
I really enjoy the large uncommons. Caller In Darkness is arguably the most aesthetically pleasing mini in the entire DDM line. | | Knight Warlord a.k.a. Commander (#32) in only 6 months. | | Caller in darkness is a fantastic looking mini, and WWL though much larger than any other Lycanthrope they have made (guess that's why he's the lord) looks to be one of the better minis for skirmish, so is the LBD, though I haven't been able to get my hands on one to see the sculpt for myself. | Just about all the new CE stuff has excited me. LBD and the Thrall have brought a lot of old skool stuff back into vogue as well as the addition of a little bit of tech for CE with the Caller and Teifling Warlocks. The WW Lord stands almost as tall as me (6'6) and is a pretty intimidating piece, which is just perfect for the faction. Over all I love the new set ... very solid, although Im anxiously waiting for NB were Im hoping that not everything has a squillion Spells or Special Abilities. | | 'nuff said, AC | |

| There are quite a few things I like about this set despite the size creep, but one of the best things I like about it actually stems from one of the oversized minis that I was most disappointed in - the Phalanx Soldier. I was watching The Two Towers today, and was marveling over Sarumans army, and wishing that I could get minis to make my Hobgoblin Army look like that. It occurred to me that the Phalanx Soldiers would be perfect for that. I had kicked around the idea of using them with the Half Orc Paladin to compose an elite Hobgoblin troop soon after I got them in, but was so angry that I let the idea drop. Earlier in the day, I was considering just giving away the 20 that I had bought from Auggie to a collector that was just starting out. Anyways, I set them up along with some of my other Hobgoblins (the key being that they looked good with my masses of Hobgoblin Sergeants), and the effect was quite good. So from the ashes of disappointment, the Phalanx Soldier turned out to be one of my favorite things about Unhallowed. | | Completed Trades: Cha0tic g0od x2,IHawk x6,demagogue x5,jcnorris00,Sammael x3,Diomedes x3,Pan,Phoenix,samstephenson500,sage_raistlin,jai,simage,Lab Monkey x4,bugsy,Vulturedoodle,T-Bone,niolo,GreyOne,Kunimatyu,Mullins,ShivanWurm,berus316,Thenameless x3,Tysac,ksuvampire,Mama Cass,Metz,Zim x2,brucemc,Krush x3,Venport,RedneckDM,nycfarmkid,Corim Danex,Chad the DragonLordofAiur x2,Puggins,Izeya82 x2,Oryan77 x3,Zenako,Wayne,Vocenoctum1,Drakkengi,Username x2,lyus_sleyden,Cyberia,Star x2,xuthal x3,Qucalion of Celene x8,sam500 x2,Blob39,Keoki x2,hazel monday x3,emontedodger,Dargoth,Wraithborne,Anothermullen,Vrecknidj x4,Ghendar,Gunthar,shoesan,beurice,ckissee,kyrin,Khellrendros,GuJiaXian,Wolfgang,True_Blue,md3,stephengroy(MMT08),Teflon Jeff,GuJiaXian(MMT08),aries71,Count Dooku,Kat_Dawg33,oldben,TheChuck,hung4treason,relientKittenI I I I I I I I I I 0 I I I I I I I I I I Pending: Thenameless
