| My stars, it's finally over. After nearly 7 months of tireless fighting.
Not much to say here, except thanks to those who volunteered their attention, intellect, time, and energy to tyring to defend the integrity of this trading community: flynnal, Corim Danex, Krush, Lab Monkey, kyrin, squarescales, etc. Even when those being scammed seemed to have given up, and when very few of the "heavy hitters" in the Maxminis community were lending their voices to the effort, you continued to attend to this matter, and maintain the struggle. In the end, we got the best result for which we could hope. So, thanks to you all.
And lastly, to -Lance-: offer sent!

| Yeah, it took an 18-page thread, threat of legal action, and finally some help from Mommie, but Our Little Lancey finally lived up to his obligations. Kinda, sorta. Amazing. Reality is going to hit that young fella hard, I fear.
Well, thanks to everyone who kept on this. It's up to all of us to protect this community from scammers and other predators. And sometimes just from the lazy and irresponsible.
Sigh. Well, let's close the book on this. At least until the NEXT time something like this happens...

He is lacking a basic understanding of the integrity required for online trading. Sure, that may change someday. I hope it does. But I wouldn't accept a trade with him even if he sent first. Not worth the hassle. I don't trust him. | |

| I'm glad it's over as well.
I know everyone here pretty much hates me now, and with good reason, so I'll probably just avoid these boards from now on.
I've considered starting to play again. This last Saturday I played the first game of D&D I have played in months. It was oddly enough the first sanctioned event I have ever participated in as well, played an old Quadfecta list with the minis I had plus some my friend Chris loaned me, and performed rather poorly, ending with a 1-2 record. Looked at the Underdark set list, it looks interesting, I'll probably pick up a few boosters in the near future.
Anyhow, for what it's worth, sorry.
