| He's new himself and only has 3 complete trades. Don't let him ruin trading fun for you. The best thing to do when you're a new trader on the boards is to trade with people who have established themselves with good references. That way it's a pretty good bet you'll get What you traded for. The more references and completed trades, The better odds you'll have getting a good trade.
[EDIT] On a side note. Before trading with anyone, it's a good idea to check out their reference thread to see what others have to say about that person. | |

| Good advice from bassman. There are a ton of really nice and reputable traders here and a few bad apples. Be careful about who you trade with and you'll avoid a lot of potential problems.
I'd also say check the sticky "compiled trades" and "trade datalist" threads on the reference forum.
It's also a good idea to be explicit in your communication about who is sending first (you, him or simultaneous) and about when you will be shipping.

| I am giving him until Sunday to contact me. If I do not hear from him I am contacting his local police department. I am $100 in minis if I were to try to replace on ebay.
If he does not I am going to ask anyone else that wants, to provide what they sent and replacement cost and their info to me and I will pass it on to his local police department. This is plain theft and using the mail to do it makes it even worse.
If he can't make good on his trades then he should step up and say so and return what was sent.

| I too sent him some minis for our trade.
I know they have been delivered. He hasn`t responded to any of
my emails either. When I was first entering the trade with him,
he had some good refs and no problems yet, now that looks to
have changed.
At the very least I would like my minis back.
From your link, looks like he is in school. May have to contact
his parents and try to get this resolved.

| Well, if he won`t email me by the end of the week, I will contact his parents 1st.
In that link he listed a phone number, and from that I got his parents name/addy. He`s been in trouble recently, so the Police might actually
help on this one, if only to give him a scare.

| | Man i just followed the rules. And from what it looked like he had a decent amount of posts. Im not sure how to check successful trades or not but i figured someone who was active on the boards wasnt trying sham people. What blows is someone offered me something else that was even a better trade and i turned it down cause i was tryin to be honest, fair, and follow the trade rules. But apparently that hasnt gotten me very far and it seems being a sneaky somebody gets you about 20 rares. I mean, dudes still posting and prolly laughing with every package he gets from people. And all want is an e-mail saying. "Yo man im out of loot and my piggy bank is empty so I cant send your pieces till payday." Well if need be I got you if the 50 need anymore reffs. I lost a beholder and those dont come by very often. | |
