| Thank you for compiling this list. It not only helps me but also the new traders that pop onto the site.
I would also like this list to grow shorter and not longer.
P.S. I love your avatar, every time I see it it cracks me up. My cat has also pocketed a mini here and there, but I have so far always recovered them before damage was dealt. | |

| Unfortunately it looks as if I have to report Kaya Kenobi to this thread.
Trade was confirmed with Kaya Kenobi [:(] on Saturday April 2nd
My end was send on Monday April 4th
He said his end would be shipped out Monday or Tuesday
Delivery of my end was confirmed on April 13th

I have to report a failed trade with Ironfist Boulderbender. We had agreed to a trade involving a number of D&D miniatures (including some very valuable ones) at the end of March.
After a few weeks nothing had arrived and I was unable to contact him via email.
It around that time that it was posted here that he had fallen ill and this was the reason he hadn't sent anything. I chose to believe this and rather than hound the guy publicly wait things out.
He contacted me again at the beginning of May and apologized for the delay and explained a bit about his problem. He said the minis were being packed and he would be sending shortly.
I asked if he had recieved my end. He said he couldn't find my end (Which included a displacer beast, large red dragon and an ogre ravager amongst others) but if thought they might be around someplace. He again told me the minis were boxed and ready to go.
Since then I have emailed a couple of times without response. Although I do think it is true he had fallen sick and this caused the initial problem it seems likely that he has decided not to make good on his remaining trades. Perhaps he decided the damage to his trading rep was already done so there was no point.
I don't know and I don't care. I'm out minis and after about a hundred trades have finally be scammed. And by an experienced trader no less.
This is the last message he sent me...
For the most part, I am recovered...still get queezy at times (they told me that I had an allergic reaction to the antivenom) but the Doc told me that will pass with time. I am trying to confirm that they did arrive, but I am not sure....I was out of it to the point that I couldn't even remember my own name (litterally!!)...I have been checking my inventory and I am not finding any Large Reds nor Ogre Ravagers. I am sure that I did not trade them out (I couldn't even remember how to log on to my computer for a while) but Sue may have accepted the package and forgot to log it in. It is probably still in this disaster area that I claim to be a computer room waiting like Tutankhaman did to be discovered.
Anyway, enough babbling...I am getting your figs all boxed up and ready to go. Thank you for your patience and concern and I have included a couple bonus figs to ease the sting of the delays.

Can you add me to the list of having a problem with CG. I've mentioned it before, but it does seem at this point that CG has done something purposefully. He advocates the use of DC's, and then claims to have shipped packages 2 or even 3 times, but won't provide DC numbers to back it up?! Doesn't make sense.

| | I send through registered mail. I checked with my post office and they confirmed that my package reached the US. CG has not reported that he has received. I have requested for him to check at his PO if the package is there. No news after a couple of requests. I think he did received. He just stopped reporting them so that he also have something against the other party. I hope I'm wrong but I don't think he deserves the benefit of the doubt considering his actions. I have a few more details that in light of recent communications between bshugg and myself that really put CG's honesty (or mental state) in question.
Back in Febuary I got an email from CG saying that he was in Michigan and getting ready to visit bshugg to get the minis CG jr. was missing and also the ones I was supposed to get from him, and asked for the details of my failed trade with bshugg.
I replied with the details and a while later got a reply from CG that he had visited bshugg (with baseball bat in hand) and got the replacement minis from him for both myself and the ones that CG jr. was supposed to get from him.
Bshugg has told me that none of this actually occured and that he just mailed the items to CG.
I still have the emails that went back and forth between us that day if they are needed.

| Hey, I just want everyone to know that I am NOT -Lance-. This trader with the hyphens around his name is NOT ME. I've been getting strange emails about trades of which I know nothing. I believe I have nothing but a solid trade reputation here, and I'm rather disturbed by the fact that -Lance- is giving me a bad name.

Just for the record, has anyone on this list of disputed trades gotten their minis since CG said he was going to "make good" on all his outstanding trades?
It has been almost a year and I still have yet to recieve a DAYUM thing from CG. He replies to the Blacklist Vote thread I started in Hordelings and sent me notes on our Trade section. I am startin to wonder if he is as good of a trader as he claims he is. I have read 99% of these posts in this topic and CG is all for these DC numbers, yet for all his bluster, he shows no bravado. He has told me thrice that he sent his end of the deal to me, yet I have nothing to show for it. If he wants to clear these charges and accuasations against him, he then needs to send his end to each and every one of those that is involved in a trade with him. Then after that, I say we execute a self-imposed exile on him.

Cool avatar Sid, but I hope you didn't lose alot in your trade. Jr's (my son) pending trade w/CG went sour when he didn't hear from (CG) regarding the supposed Dc he was to send to him(Krush Jr). Never a word from CG(no surprise) I advised Jr with that being the case, cancel the trade and move on(bagged? Rask for trade).
It really gets under my skin that somebody will or would jerk around a kid even if he is the son of a member(4 completed trades w/CG). I am sure there is a double standard in CG's world but I am sorry, family is family to me. Well you know, arrgh!

I had one more aspect that I kept track of that was too much work to port into a maxmini posting, and that was the status of the trade if only partially completed (ie one side received and admitted it). That may help to cull a number of the entries off the listing. (I used a font setting, Bold/italic/bold italic, in my spreadsheet to indicate that info and it would not port well.)

Sounds great. There are some disputed trades on this list from the early days of Maxminis before I was a member. Many of those entries were imported from your trade data list. It would be useful if you could check on these. Just let me know what you come up with by email or post again in this thread.

i hate to list anyone as a bad trader but i feel that i have waited enough time to receive my end of the trade.
on april 9 i accepted a trade with uk for his lsd and ogre ravanger for my displacer beast. i had to send first do to me having no completed trades(i was ok with that) he emailed me a week and a half latter and said he sent his end out and received mine. about a month and a half later (international trade) i emailed him looking for information on the method he shipped and an estimatede time of arrival. no answer. i continued to email him for about 3 weeks and he finnally answered saying that he had went away and left them for his mother to mail and she did not mail them(i was cool with this) and he said he would mail them out soon and add a hill giant for my wait and paitence in this matter. so i waited another month still no package. i started emailing him again and no responce to any emails. if he would just answer the emails this could have been avoided. i understand things happen but it is getting ridiculous the amount of time i have to wait and now i feel i am out a db and now have to now get an lsd(60.00 when i could have gotten it at 35.00 at the time of this trade) and ogre ravenger thank you

| I fell I must say about what has happened to me.
I had a trade with Tris, and I have not honored my side. I will tell you what had happened, and what I intend to do to fix it.
I have his package he sent to me, unopened, at my mom's house. I have my package that should have been sent to him at my house. On April 5, I was in a serious accident and I haven't been out of the hospital to do anything about it. I will not divulge what had happened since its seriousness is why I have been absent all this time. However I am back, and I will do everything I can to fix this problem, as you all know that I have never fallen short on a trade and always did my best to please everyone. That is my statement, and again I apologize for not honoring the trade because I never mailed it out. But it will be taken care of, and everything should be ok. | |

I always try to send through delivery confirmation, and I expect the same. It's only 55 cents extra, so it's just a little more than a pay phone call, so just do it for the Kai.  I prefer to trade with people in the US and Canada, sorry everyone else.

I have resolved my trade with Ironfist Boulderbender, I sent him a snailmail letter suggesting that he finish the trade or I'd file charges, trade was then completed.
I have a pending trade with Juice_Valley that I have told him to forget about. He has claimed to have sent twice, but I've not recieved either one, and I don't want to bother dealing with it if he's a scammer.
Me_is_fred was supposed to send me 2 arcane archers a few months ago. He returns email sporadically but never with any results - Things like " I got your last email". Since this is another foreign trade, I've written it off as a loss and won't persue it because it's pointless.
I had a trade with -Lance- like most people, never recieved, case closed, 'nuff said.
My new foreign trade policy will be large trades only, and both sides will have to use registered mail since it's signed for every time it changes hands. Most likely I'll only be trading with foreigners with several references. Yes, I'm discriminating against those with a weak history, yes, it may be a bit unfair, sorry.

Once burnt, twice shy. A fully understandable decision Thatoneguy. I personally don't blame you. If people don't want to do the right thing, and that in turn hurts others from their 'area' then bad luck.
