| The text from the last email from CG below. It outlines what I am owed and his agreement that he will soon be sending them. This email was sent on 5/20. I have not recieved the minis as of this date.
The only modification to the text below was my removal of my personal address and phone number.

| Original trade was arranged back in Feb sometime. I can dig the exact date out of my email folder if necessary. The terms were pretty simple.

For his: Huge Gold Dragon, 4 misc uncommons
He's acknowledged via email that he's got my end. Claims he sent his end back in Feb (never arrived). Claims he resent (but didnt take my advice to get delivery confirmation) but nothing ever arrived and he disappeared offline for quite some time. He reappeared and I gave it a couple weeks and didnt hear from him so contacted him again. Said he'd be sending "tomorrow" on at least two ocassions but when I demanded a delivery confirmation number and threatened legal action (he had the audacity to respond as if I were being unreasonable to do so) he stopped responding to my emails. As of today I still dont have anything. Including a response to my last email.

Update: June 13 CG replied to my post on his new site saying that the figures had been sent "regular airmail". He will not provide tracking number or say when they were sent.

A few days ago, I have sent CG a letter by snail mail (DC), asking him to finally send the dragon and provide me with a tracking number. I hope to get a response to that, or better still, a package.
As I have told CG, I will -of course- send back any of the other packages he claims to have sent if there ever should arrive more than 1. | |

| Well, I'm going to chime in. I have indeed had a negative experience with Cha0ticGo0d, but as many others I've long since written it off.
About 9 months ago I was involved in two trades at once. One to dariustad and the other to CG. I was to send Dariustad a Large Silver Dragon, some Kapaks, some Baaz and some other stuff. To CG went a bunch of commons and uncommons (mass quantities) for large armies - Dalelands Militia, Human Crossbowman, etc.
I shipped the boxes and then went out of town for a long weekend.
While I was out of town I got an email from CG "got your box".
Two days later I got an email from dariustad saying he got a box from me but it didn't include what he expected and he listed off the contents.
I emailed them both (on the same email) so we could startup a conversation. Dariustad shipped the box I mistakenly sent him on to CG as he already had his address. CG wasn't responding so I resent everything that was in the trade on to dariustad (my second and only remaining Large Silver Dragon). CG responded and said he'd send back the box I mistakenly sent him along with the prize I received from his contest (remember the 15th level sorcerer contest?).
I indeed got a box back from CG but it did NOT contain the LSD or draconians. Emailed him about this and he insisted that I never sent him an LSD in the mistaken box.
Anyway, it started with my mistake so I wrote that off. Dariustad I'm sure remembers this as well. From that point forward I personally made the decision to not trade w/ CG again. He obviously did and does not view every trade with the level of importance and seriousness that I do. | |

| I sent him over 300 figures, that included lesser rares, repaints and promos. I was to receive (if i remember correctly) Fire Giant, Frost Giant, Wyvern, Manticore, Sahuagin, Dire Rat x2.
I goofed in the trade initially, however i corrected the wrongs, and DC showes he received my packages. I do not have exact details any longer as i am on a new computer and it will not open my outlook backup file (different versions of outlook). This was early in the year: i sent the last package correcting my goof on Feb 15, 2005.

I last heard from him on 20 May - when he said he would be be “sending them out along with the other packages at once so i can try to scan the one recipt from UPS and upload it to maxminis”.

| I had a trade going with him around Janurary. I sent about 40 dragon magazines for 3 or 4 figs. I e-mailed him two or three times and he said that he had received the magazines and had sent the minis but I never received them. I sent another e-mail to him around March at the beginning of the week and he said that he would get back to me on Friday. I haven't heard from him since then and have now moved to a different state.'

Jan 24/05 CG was supposed to send:
4 lost temple battle maps
1 warforged repaint
1 fireball template
March 8/05 CG recieved my package (said customs had it hmmm)
March 18/05 CG said he will resend (which he didn't)
May 21/05 CG said again that he would resend (which he didn't)
i started sending very aggressive emails to try to piss him off enough to respond, which works everytime
June 13/05 CG said that he will send back my wyvern
he never asked me about getting any packages....
i sure hope something is done about this

When attempting to clear up a questionable dispute CG had with me, I included:
A package CG had agreed to forward on to another player as a safe middleman. Extra figs were included for him for compensation for this task.
The other forum member has never recieved the package from CG yet I know CG recieved the package from me.
I just want to insure the forum member got his package, or it is resent back to me to deliver. | |

Well I am guessing that that other forum member is me, and I haven't recieved the package from you that CG was supposed to pass on I even sent him a thankyou for acting as middle man, I emailed him about it a week after his return to the boards and got no response.
I was long past worrying about the trade with you when CG brought it up to me, and whether I ever recieve them from CG or not I hold no grudge against you.

I sent my first package on March 15, and the second package on March 31. My packages were delivered on March 18 (DC# 0304 1560 0008 0075 1260), and April 4 (DC# 0304 1560 0008 0075 6395)respectively. The last time CG emailed me, he said that he was sending my package via UPS I emailed him asking for a tracking number and have not heard from him since.

The process is long so we're going to get started.
My brother in law works for a NY state Law firm and has agreed to take this case as pro-bono for the most part. I am NOT going to disclose the information on what we are trying to charge him with yet. I want to send a strong message that people can not do what CG is doing. I am just as concerned about other peoples goods as I am my own.
I was going to hold off..but news of CG making trades and sending first yet not having delt with trades from a while ago made me decide to get ahold of my brother in law and execute his plan.
We (my brother and I) have made a hotmail account in which we're going to collect all the info. Please send the actual emails that involved your trades. Send them in chronological order as well. My brother and I will sort through the facts.
If people DO start receiving their minis. LET ME KNOW!!!!

I have a few more details that in light of recent communications between bshugg and myself really put CG's honesty (or mental state) in question.
Back in Febuary I got an email from CG saying that he was in Michigan and getting ready to visit bshugg to get the minis CG jr. was missing and also the ones I was supposed to get from him, and asked for the details of my failed trade with bshugg.
I replied with the details and a while later got a reply from CG that he had visited bshugg (with baseball bat in hand) and got the replacement minis from him for both myself and the ones that CG jr. was supposed to get from him.
Bshugg has told me that none of this actually occured and that he just mailed the items to CG.
I still have the emails that went back and forth between us that day if they are needed.
Merric I hope this is the appropriate place for this while it is not details of the trade in question I think it is important for everyone to know about it as it really makes you wonder about all the other stuff CG has been saying to all of us.

| I will be happy to discuss this with any of the mods or interested parties in private. I find CG's claims to be troubling.
But for the facts:
CG apparently claimed he threatened me in person.
CG did not threaten me in person.
CG did not even approach me over the trade dispute. I contacted him when someone mentioned to me that I was listed under the disputed traders thread. I then did my best to clear up those disputes including extra figures for time and inconvience for both Idzy and CG.
Idzy still has not recieved his end of the deal that CG had agreed apon. | |
