| I just recieved a mini from an ebay seller without a stat card. He did not list this lack of stat card in the auction and feigned as if it was standard not to do so in an email to me. How do you guys feel about this? I am going to leave him neutral feedback as I feel it's an inentional omission as I'm sure he knows auctions that list a lack of card typically sell for half as much as those that have cards. | Before leaving him a neutral, I'd ask him for compensation. Either a partial refund or a bonus mini. If he can make up for his mistake, you should still give him a positive.
Be careful even if you do give him a positive. I just got screwed a couple weeks ago when a seller posted a pic of an item that wasn't the item I received. After dealing with his rude emails, I filed for a partial refund which he accepted. Thinking that he realized he messed up & that's why he agreed to the refund, I left him a positive for working out the problem. In return, he leaves me negative feedback and lies in his comment about me not communicating & saying I took advantage of him. He wasn't communicating, and as a buyer, how can I take advantage of him?
It wouldn't surprise me a bit if your seller pulls this stunt with you even if he does compensate you.

No, the guy I'm talking about sells collectible cards & stamps (I bought cards). He has changed his Ebay name about 30 or more times, and just changed it again last week. He now goes by the name west.9
I'm still contemplating getting my revenge on him [}:)] because I noticed he did the same thing to another seller the other day. He sent the seller a card claiming it was near mint, the seller left Positive feedback but mentioned "It wasn't near mint as listed". So the seller left him Negative feedback! People can be such scum.

| Lesson learned the hard way it seems. I now always ask the seller if they have the cards if they do not mention them explictedly. Many of the sellers on EBAY have little clue about what they are selling. They might just be friends or family of whomever bought the minis, or a collectible shop that would know a good Hummell from a bad one, but have no clue about DDM. I onec had a similar experience, but the collectible shop owner then sent me all the cards, saying they did not realize that they were part of the game. I noted from then on when that seller listed items they mentioned the cards as well. I assume that the seller has no card unless stated.
In some cases I suspect the people selling off the minis were only getting them for RPG and simply tossed the box and cards away when they bought them, since they are not needed for RPG. As to the whole feedback thing, it is my policy to not leave feedback for a seller until they have left it for me in general. I have completed my end when I paid for the item, and if I did that they should indicate it on my record. While I sometimes slip up and give feedback to the seller even if they had not given it to me that is not my intent. I have had to deal with numerous seller mistakes over the years and most of them are quite willing to set things straight. That being said, there have been some who were unresponsive. | | Built the addition for this addiction, now on to the "gaming table" project.... http://www.maxminis.com/hw_list.asp?user=Zenako last updated 29 May 2006 Set Status: in a nutshell = all of all In Process trades 0), (Sig last updated 05/29/06) 300 plus Completed Trades -

| There is an e-bay option available to dispute the purchase, item received significatnyl not as described. Open a dispute, it will force him to deal with it and it is well within the bounds of e-bays policies. If he chooses not to respond or deal with it, he won't be able to leave you feedback and you will get your money refunded I beleive. I hope this helps, and this is very much the reason that I leave feedback for buyers the day that I ship their items out. They fulfilled their agreement, now it is up to me to live up to mine.
