Okay Galneweinhaw, I need to clear up my magic items..

I don't have the fear burst weapon now (that was traded in along with my default win medium item to gain my censor of air el's)

I also don't have the minor +1 armor, as that was traded in last week to get a major scroll of heightened.

so:
remove fear burst
remove +1 armor
add (med) Heightened Major Scroll

Also bertha should now be at 6000xp..

As I'm doing this I realize you may still be editing the thing.. I apologize if I'm ahead of the game (For the first time ever :))

I just made it back into town, thanks for remembering to include me this week. Galneweinhaw, Urthok the Destroyer is only a level 3 warlord, so he only has CR +1, unless you're counting my Ring of Command.

Last week I traded in my +1 armor and picked up a +1 weapon of Frost (+5 cold). This is different than the erroneously reported +1 weapon of Icy Burst from last weeks game matchup.

As a related side note, does a +1 weapon like this make a figure go from +9 (5 damage) to +10 (5 magic + 5 cold), or is it +10 (5 damage + 5 cold)?

If anyone is still reading, TKort and I have scheduled our game for 8 pm Central/7 pm Mountain on Thursday.

Special Rule - Resiliance: When a creature is reduced to 0 or -5 hit points, roll 1d20. On a roll of 11 or higher, the creature instead survives and now has 5 hit points. Creatures reduced to -10 hit points or below are destroyed, as usual.

So how exactly does this work? If a creature with 5 hit points is hit for 15 damage is he automatically dead, no roll? But a creature with 10 hit points hit for 15 gets to make the roll?

As a follow-up, assuming the 10 hit point creature makes the roll, he is reduced to 5 hit points, since he is down to half, is the morale check required?

Actually, he is reduced to -5, but then is "healed" to 5 HP.

Battle Report: I lost the log file cus my computer crashed at the end of the game. It was pretty cool, both of us probably made about 80% of the Life force saves. The Cleric and Graycloak just WOULDN'T DIE!!! eheh

TKort and I met last night for a long battle.

1. Nevan, Coutal, Warmage, Aramil - Adventurer, Clank - Warforged Fighter, Jengal - Halfling Vet, Grog and Glug Hill Dwarf Warriors, and Bob, Joe, and Sam the Man at Arms. 1000 XP for Nevan
2. Nevan moves to 6500 XP and no chance to level.
3. Clank gains 500 XP moving to 1500 XP
4. No level gained
5. Manual of Bodily Health (I would prefer that Clank read the book, but he has already read it once. If he can't gain the benefit again, Nevan will read it.)
6. Traded in Thundering Weapon

7. Bertha, Dino and Deaner the Gold Champions, Bazagen the Hill Dwarf Warrior, and Aramil - Adventurer
8. 250 XP gained moving Bertha to 6250 XP
9. No leveling options
10. +1 Armor
11. None

Point Totals

12. I was pleased to see the small army and fewer hit points than a gaggle of high AC dwarves. The mushroom tangle in front of Bertha's Statue Room Assembly tile allowed the warmage hit both GCs with an acid arrow early. Three empowered Sonic Orbs and a lesser sonic orb took an enfeebled Dino out of the fight. The Air Elemental came out to play, but Nevan scared it off using his spell. Deaner thought he could move to base the Coutal safely, but the mighty Sam used the Abbator for a critical hit. Nevan hit Deaner with a DV spell, and the warmage hit with a lesser orb to send him running.

Bertha rallied the Champ and moved to join him in the Abbator. My Aramil managed to enfeeble both the Champ and the Sergeant. The last Empowered orb hit Deaner along with two lesser orbs and the last Deific Vengeance. He then made the first of his 3 successful Life Force Checks. The valliant Sam finished the Champ off with another Crit. Sam then moved against Bertha and scored a Crit on her, but she passed the LF check. Jengal finished her off.

It is hard to pick my MVP for this battle. Bob the Man at Arms trapped Aramil in a statue room against the edge of the board preventing more than one of my folks from being enfeebled. The Coutal put 60 points of automatic sonic damage into the Champs, deterred them from breathing, used Snake's Swiftness for a critical by Jengal, and then used CMW on a 5 hp Jengal. Nevan had the threat of Vengeance which kept the fodder around on the abbator leading to a few extra critical hits. The Warmage pumped 30 damage into the Champs. Sam the Man at Arms had 3 critical hits, two on the same Gold Champion. I will give the MVP to the Coutal.

Good game by TKort. Like me, he was trying to figure out what works (at all) for LG. We both tried Large Silver to no avail. We both were crushed by dual Gold Champs last week so TKort gave that a try. Luckily for me I wanted the auto damage of the Warmage and Coutal, and I happened to get the added benfit of fire resistance.

This campaign is awesome! Everyone make sure to thank Galneweinhaw when you send him your log file this week. Thanks to Tullywi for the new mod and coordinating signups for each week.

Good game Lurch. The victory points don't show it, but the match was pretty close. My Bladesinger made her life force check. I also had more than a few critical hits throughout the match. I won plenty of the initiatives too even though he was +4 on me.

I'll post the battle report later, but a good game by Takasi, even with 6 point deficit on Initiative I was able to win it on a few crucial occasions and the dice gods did not favor good on this night.

So Elvira knew those little Mr. Goody Two Shoes LG types would have insane ACs and all kinds of boosting spells. Expecting to see two of those two Dragon wannabe Gold Champions she recruited CEs best attackers, the earthly personification of the great god Lolth and the Eye of Gruumsh who had to pick up a magic weapon to help him out. The Orc Champs have been sent for remedial training since they have a hard time hitting silly CGers lately. Imagine Elvira's surprise when she saw a walking plant and three unfamiliar dwarves. "Oh well, they're still dwarves and they still stink" she thought. First the room got all smokey and Elvira couldn't see, so she knew her spells would be of limited use. "Guess we have to go over and knock some heads" was her response. Just to prevent the Eye from embarrassing himself Elvira cast Magic Weapon on him "Now you had better not miss" she told him. The Maws moved out to die, which is what they are for. The lawful gooders were clearly frightened by the living incarnation of Lolth and Elvira's new Skull Mask as they mainly hid near their entrance. Stupid dwarves lined up in front of the plant and Elvira urged her band to rush forward. The battle was joined when Lolth rushed forward and delivered a godly blow, befitting her station, on the plant. Unfortunately it decided to hang around and was quickly healed. "Well this will be annoying" Elvira thought to herself. She cast her Snowball Swarm on the dwarves, but they were surprisingly resilient. Since the leader of this troop of boy scouts was essentially alone on the assembly tile (only the Dwarf Eberk with him), the Eye decided to pay him a visit. Valyssa took a mighty blow, and tried to respond with a Smite of her own. But alas, the Eye was crafty and distracted her with his hideous face and one eye causing her to miss horribly. Unfortunately for the Eye, Eberk hit him with a stunning blow, amazed at the prowess of the little dwarf, the Eye quickly cut him in half. But then the plant decided it did not like tangling with the spider god, so it went after the Eye. Due to pot shots from that elf b*tch, Aramil, the plant's attacks and cutting himself (he's getting therapy but it's just not working) the Eye was in sad shape. He did avoid death once by some strange magic but fate would later play a cruel joke on him. Lolth smashed Aramil, Elvira flung a few more snowballs at the pesky dwarves who just would not die! Lolth was having a very hard time hitting those dwarves after Aramil cast an enfeebling spell on her. In the most embarrassing moment in history, the Eye died to a Healer, a HEALER! There is a special spot in hell reserved for Orcs that die to healers and as he lay dying the Eye viewed the afterlife with great trepidation. Elvira and Lolth spent a few turns dancing around with the one remaining dwarf and healer. The dwarf feeling confident due to the effects of the enfeebling spell on Lolth bravely walked away from her to attack Elvira. Fortunately Elvira's ability to blend into the shadows saved her. The healer finally fell and the dwarf ran away. Those dwarves were hard to hit and kill!

I've been holding off posting this, but here goes.

Winning Warlord: Ruin the Cleric of Lathander.
Experience: Ruin gains 1000 points
Leveling: Ruin gains 7th level and will take an additional 5 hit points and takes the 2nd bonus feat of quick cast. Ruin also gains another spell level (12th) and takes the 3rd level divine spell Cure Serious Wounds.
Magic item: Ruin gains a medium magic item. I will post it when I get a chance for someone to witness. Kyuketsuk was my witness. I rolled a Major Scroll of Silent and Still.
Victory points: ?? not sure

Losing Warlord: Cryst Drow Wizard - Forfeit

Cryst and I had a disagreement - maybe more than one. I posted the main question on Wizards board. Routing creatures have to take the quickest way to the exit even if it means they take damage (and die) going through the Spike Stone Cave.

We totally forgot about the life rule, but it was nice game my warband: Buruja, ogre ravager, Kenku sneak, and another kenku for support, his: grim necromancer, tayan knight, dwrf skeleton a zombie, he summon a minotaur undead, an another zombie, i firs take his zombies and the dwarf out while he make a kenku to run like a coward, than i start to shoot with dorow wizard radius and kenku arrows to tayan, he then try to ambush me, using his warlond as a bait, but the ravager do it pretty well.
