Gharag II wouldn't mind having to not deal with the inconvenience of being ooc, but I don't know that he's got any items you'd want. You can't use shields anymore then CE can. I probably need to find him a nice LE ally.

Right now Galneweinew is the front runner of the two applicants. Thom's distaste for evil is showing its ugly head here as he is not sure he can align with a foul tiefling. In thought are there any LG applicants that might seek the alliance. The trade benefit would be greater as LG likes shields and CG isnt as fond of them etc.

Perhaps a radical ally such as the wild Thom Waits would fit the bill.. Tkort.
