| Go ahead and watch. I don't think anyone would consider it rude, although don't give people advice on tactics of course.
If you wanna message someone, just click the little magnfiying glass by the room name so you can see who's in the room, then right click their name and select personal message.

| Yeah, most people don't mind if you join the room and watch. If they did, they would probably lock the room. I think its a good way to see what people are playing, and to learn strategies and how to use and counter certain figures.

Hi, I prefer to lurk and watch a bit before jumping into the deep dark dungeons. Is it considered rude to just join a game in progress to watch?
Absolutely watch! It will only help you to be a better player. Most folks don't even mind you asking questions as long as you don't offer ideas during the game. At the end of the game many folks share ideas about different strategies that worked or didn't and offer their own ideas. It helps everyone get better. | | The Waterboy. | The EC Outsider group (currently only myself) is also looking for new members. It's an easy group to be in: you watch games and get to fend off everyone wanting you to join the EC so they can slaughter you mercilessly....
Oh, and you get to offer rules clarifications that are sometimes added into the new or upcoming rules set. Or, maybe that's just me.... [:D][)] | | Trade & talk in real time on IRC! SERVER: irc.psionics.net CHANNEL: #maxminis SOFTWARE: PC | PC (free) | MAC

Haha! Well hey, I joined it knowing full well that I would get slaughtered because I am not going to build warbands and warlords for brutal effeciency. So far my record is 1-3, and I am still enjoying it. | | Champion of the Revenant Knight of the Elf Duskblade Complete Trades: Oni, Kidkach, Melrune, callidusx3
