Summary:
It was a very enjoyable game, and scruffydude7 was a great opponent. I was fairly worried about his warband when I saw it, because chewing through the helmed horror's HP was not something I was looking forward to (or was super good at with my warband), and he had enough units to block my gith monk from getting to him easily. Anyway, I buffed, he summoned an eqistaf and another skelteal dwarf, and the long and the short of it is the helmed horror had a big slugfest in the hall of heroes with Valkerata, the gold dwarf soldier, and the man-at-arms, and the gith monk scooted to base the grim necro. The grim necro failed his stun save and got killed the next round, and some lucky rolling by me killed the helmed horror before it had the chance to finish off Valkerata, who was at 20 HP.
It was an exciting, friendly, and well-played game, look forward to facing you in the future scruffydude, good game!
Adding something, my weapon that I got, that does +5 damage to uniques... I don't suppose named lieutenants or everyone's commander counts as a unique? I sincerely doubt it, but hoping that the weapon will ever be useful, because really, as it stands, it being helpful only against Urthok and Snig doesn't really get my blood flowing... =) | |

Summary:
Well, karmically tonight made up for Friday and Saturday for me. I can only imagine how irritating it was for OC. I think I missed a total of 3 attacks and no saves the entire game. I'd say 75% of my rolls were over 10.
I managed to get off a bw beginning of round 3 to wipe out 5 of his weenies and damage the justicator and this proved important in getting him to make the first move. He moved the justicator in and I wailed on it, Gharag hitting with the godly blow and then a drider transposing in the OC to finish it off. I had to send the ravager to deal with the helmed horror since it had based drizz'l, but the ravager rolled 20,19,19 on his 3 attacks. It was a matter of me not missing much and making my morale saves to take the win. and a level for Gharag and his trusted drider lieutenant.

Summary:
A match that early on had every roll going my way but a few. I lost one init the whole game. I was a little depressed to realize my Xendric champ couldnt do 15 at range, but I went through. He failed two MCs on Duergars at +15 which hurt him bad. RoEd my giant which hurt me. But Fadecourts throws and the blocking power of the ZWD won the day. | |
