His warband uses a lot of energy based attacks and relies on you making low saves. At 400 points, you should go LG. I'm not sure if you have the following pieces, but try this: LSD x2 Couatl Cleric of Dol Arrah Dwarf Artificer and 48 points of filler (grab 1 more caster that can cast Magic Weapon like Mialee) The Beholder will pose a problem for your casters, so make sure you position your casters well (in such a way that they don't have LoS to the Beholder) before casting. If you don't have an extra LSD, try Mounted Paladins. Their relatively low hp won't be a problem since you aren't dealing with multiple heavy hitters and you have the Couatl protecting him from energy attacks. If you still wish to go CG, then going with a high-save, high attack band like Drizzt is not a bad idea. Something like: Drizzt Ulmo Rask Frenzied Berserker Elf Pyro (for energy protection and resistance) Inspiring Marshal Crow Shaman (for snake swiftness and cat's grace) 45 points of filler (perhaps another Pyro for good measure) Hope that helps.

I think i modify your LG band (no second LSD). What about Ghaele Eladrin out of CG (per Couatl)? I know she's low on hit points but her spells...

Sorry Janos, but the Couatl can't bring in the Ghaele Eladrin because the latter is a commander. Unless specified in the Warband building text (like in the case of Elminster), you can't bring in commanders from other factions. As for not having a second LSD, you can either go for a Trumpet Archon as a replacement, or with a combination of Ulmo + Mounted Paladin.

Figures with Evade will give the warband you mentioned fits. Make your save and take no damage. Young Master, Ulmo , can't recall others.
