I don't think he is undercosted, it's just some other dragons that are overcosted. He's costed just fine for what he does... | | | |

| | I think you're getting a fair amount for the points you're spending on the MSD. That said, however, I wish he were faster. I was really pulling for a more expensive, more roubust green dragon for LG. That speed 7 hurts. | | **Note: Unless otherwise stated all my minis are unbagged** My reference thread is at: http://www.maxminis.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=12765 Graduate school is swollowing my soul!!!! | Given the prevalence of Chraals these days, this isn't a bad addition to LG. I mean, he can't do much to Chraals, but, for what LG pays for him, he's pretty resilient to Chraals as well. And, against other LE pieces, he at least stands a chance. I'd say that the Gauth will prefer facing MSD over LSD, and so this might get a few more Gauth bands on the scene.
I haven't seen a Gauth band in a while . . . .

| | I think 2 of these in a band with a Coatlal (SP?) is a nice start. Still plenty of points in a 200/8 band for utility, hitters and/or a second commander. | | Never teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of time and it annoys the pig.

| I don't think that two MSDs and a Couatl is a better option, for the points (146, iirc), than a Couatl and three JAs (138, iirc). I think that some mixing and matching will be the way to go. The Couatl may, in fact, be a good piece for the MSD. I don't know if the Cleric of Order will be the way to go like he was with the LSD though. Boosting the AC by two, when the AC is already kinda low, isn't necessarily a good use of the points.

| I love the piece as a single unit in a band.
The morale booster wont stack and the double fire damage creates weakness that I would not be comfortable with for use in a general band.
Spoiler band, sure.
