It's not a DC ... it's just an 11+ roll ... so no increase there.

the dark naga beholder combo is tricky. just as before the beholder is unpredicable in what eye ray you'll get but which ever it is it will have a better chance of working. it's biggest weakness is that once the you fodder has been removed they are vulnrable. My warband had a

Dark Naga (Gencon promo)
beholder
chaarl X2
kobold solider

all for 200pts

with this band i played eight game. I was able to win 75% of my games on tiles and 25% of my games on the fane of the drow maps. (mind you the fane maps can really hamper any ranged ability)

In closeing if you paly the beholder you best bet is to take the Dark naga

"Well maybe Mr. T hacked the game and created a Mohawk class! Maybe Mr. T is handy with computers! Had that ever occurred to you Mr. condescending Director!"

I think the Dark Naga is going to be seen with the gauth more often than the beholder. Why? Because that leaves 120 pts to by support, which should be pretty cool. The new maps do seem to be a little punishing on the Beholder, so it makes sense to buy the smaller one instead. Also, the Dark Naga has a nice spell selection, and the Beholder discourages their use.

Heh, heh, I've actually screwed around with that EXACT warband (+ filler), and it's pretty good. It's a nice combination, for as long as you can protect the Naga.
