| It is supposed to take effect when Wardrums comes out along with the maps. Out of command creatures are no longer restricted to speed 2 | | | |

| | OK thanks for the update, us old farts are a little slow on the uptake sometimes. I just happened to read the rules insert on a pack of deathknell today, and i just learned the summon and minions DO count points now... | | My number is 667- I'm the neighbor of the beast... | | So being out of command means . . . what? Someone more rules savvy than I please explain. | | Lance Hawvermale -- Writer/Editor, Necromancer Games Completed Trades: 67 My Vision Quest: www.lancehawvermale.com | |

| | My guess is that the OOC critter still has to rush the nearest enemy it has LOS to... no positioning for charges, etc. | | My number is 667- I'm the neighbor of the beast... VIVAT ANSTEORRA! VIVAT WIESENFURER!! CHAMPION OF THE GORGON | |

Not having a commander with line of sight or within 6 squares. Out of command creatures had their speed reduced to 2. With the change that is supposed to come that restriction would be lifted. To me that makes more since. You would still suffer the other effects of being out of command(no bonus to morale not able to rally) | | Asystole is a stable heart rhythm | |

| | Well being out of command suddenly doesn't seem like such a bad thing. Now even OOC creatures can run around scoring tile points (or Victory Area points or whatever they're going to be called after the death of tiles). I'm still uncertain about this rules change. | | Lance Hawvermale -- Writer/Editor, Necromancer Games Completed Trades: 67 My Vision Quest: www.lancehawvermale.com | |

| Of course getting rid of the move 2 OOC rule also makes Independent creatures overcosted. Which makes me question the reasoning behind the change. A reasonable change would be to make all creatures move half their normal move when OOC. That way a creature that has 12 normally could still move 12 with a double move instead of a stupid 4 which just doesn't make sense. It was a badly designed rule in the first place really. Every creature OOC moves 2? Your lightning fast creature now can't move hardly at all because he has no commander in sight. Just doesn't make sense to me. As a note of interest I do believe that SWM never had a move 2 rule so that was probably the testing ground for the rule in some ways. Hopefully it won't be a total elimination of the rule, just a modification or they'll change Independent to get some new bonus. Otherwise those creatures that have it should get errata to drop their cost 10-15 points (which would be even dumber).
