| | The card specifies "this round"; map or terrain initiative isn't a round, so the card text itself indicates your answer is no. | | | |

| | Makes sense but nice try. That would have been cool. 15 points for an extra activation and getting your map would be totally worth it. | | Jason Slingerland

?! CG has no problem with initiative. And, even when CG loses initiative, it has no problem remaining competitive.

| I'm not saying that they have problem with initiative which are in fact really good ΖD] with Ryld and IM as commander.
But I personnaly think that competitive CG band are really poor faction. FB has too many bad match-up: Snake Justice (4*JA+2*COU), monk band (Gith + YM), beholder band W/O Soth and Chraal band for the good match-up (passive LSD, quadfecta?!). Overmore, my local game are full of Monk and JA and suprisingly Chuul.
Beside the FB, I'm not convinced about the efficiency of Greenfang petshop or archmage band. I really want them to work but I don't figure how! May be I'm not playing those bands well enough.
I also think that the rise in AC and save check of most competitive band is bad news for CG particularly Gogogoliath and to a lesser extent FB (+14/+9, save 8) who suffers from this situation. In the last set, I've found one possible piece that can possibly change this and it is Rikka and with the maps transition and poor save, I think she won't be a factor... As I have always thought, may be CG problem is that it has better commander than follower. I didn't spoke about Kord and I'm curious about a band with him and Ryld.[}:)]
If I forgot a good and competitive band in CG please tell me[?]
