| | So why the spider of lolth in the starter band, instead of summoning? | | Why does everyone use the Half-Fiend Ogre?! Any of the CE quad hitters are better! Try the Orc Chump for DMG or the Red Samurai if your meta is JA heavy. | | Welcome to Eternal Crack... "Corn is no place for a mighty warrior!" Champion of the Frost Salamander | |

| Sub the Half-fiend Oger for Red Samurai and I played the same band last night. I got smashed by a randomd LE band

I got to summon three extra spiders but just wasn't enough, the two immune to poison guys wrecked my day. There's a lot of poison immunity out there. Didn't help that my Yuan-ti got slid into the abyss that are them pits on Drow Outpost. | | Champion of the Kender ckissee - "providing TPK's since 2007" Albert Einstein never once said that if the bees disappeared, "man would have only four years of life left" but the theory is a scary prospect. | |

| | I tried a simialer band vs a lawful good band, in the end I just wasn't able to hit the high AC of most of the figures. Although it was funny every time the sword archon tried to hit my spider but only to miss the concealment roll [:D] | | My webcomic: http://www.sentimentalhorde.com Bringing world peace by conquering on nation at time! | |

| I think that everyone tries to use the HFO just because it is new and shiny and looks cool. Regardless, it only has a single attack, which just doesn't cut it when compared to the other quad hitters with multiple attacks.

| some of us have Orc Champs.. but not Half-Fiend Ogres (yet).
Im not sold on Poison bands. I see the appeal.. but it just puts a HUGE target on your non-fearless Drow Arachnomancer. The mobs that you most want to get poisoned are those that are most likely to make the save against poison (tho I did see a BPM poisoned tonite).
Its fun... make sure you trample the crap outta his models with the swarms. make him keep rolling.. he will fail saves. | | Minis... Serious Business Completed Trades (18 ) | Pending Trades (0) Ebay seller to Avoid –Fantasy_Quest_Dist

| while we are talking about this i was wondering does the lolth's sting sleep poison get the comander effect of the Drow Aracnomancer?
if it does i am going to have to see about the Drow Aracnomancer in a drow 500pt army if trying to build. | | trades pending: (0)

No, since the commander effect speciefies creatures whose name contains spider, and whose type is vermin. Since the sting is not a vermin, and does not have spider in it's name, it does not get the commander effect. It also does not benifit from Venomous, as that speficially stats that it only applies to poisons that deal damage. | | Call me: W.N.
