| I'd avoid Mina as a commander, as she's truly very overcosted, with a useless commander effect to boot. If you want to use a lot of red dragons, use them with a CE commander, and then you won't have to pay for the warband building.
That said, I'd not use the iron golem, as far from protecting Mina, he'll just put a bigger price tag on her head. The rakshaska +DMM looks fairly solid.
If your going for LE epic, why not use the Epic iron golem, who's pretty tough?

| If you are going to go with HRD and dual LRDs, I suggest just staying in Chaotic Evil.
I ran this band with some success in a 500 pt tourney in the past.

Cursed Spirit fillers
With the Cursed Spirit and HRD, you'll force Morale Checks at a -7 save. That'll send your non-fearless enemies running.
Also, 115 fire damage (55 on a save) can be very deadly. The Lich Necro is a better commander than Mina because of his spells. The Hold Monster is great, and can set up monster dmg from the dragons. The Empowered Magic Missiles are also very nice for clearing out fodder or softening up targets. | |
