| Ok, one of the guys is hosting a minis night tonight. I have no idea how many will show, but I'm building "goofy" themed bands.
Help me choose (at work, can’t remember all the contents):
A CE band that can all cast magic missile (vampire aristocrat, lich necromancer, 2 githyanki and an orc warrior for fill)
A CE band that all has blindfight or blindsight (tiefling captain, yuan-ti aberration, grimlock barbarian, other stuff)
An aberration band (dark naga, destrachen, gauth, gibbering mouther, nothic, …)
A magical beast/animal band (greenfang, winter wolf, 2 timber wolfs, celestial pegasus, I think a dire bear…)
A drow band (Ryld, mounted drow, deep dragon, xen’drick champion, …)
I had an instant death band of 2 death slaad and Aspect of Orcus, but that is only 4 minis (with orc warrior) so I killed it.
I might build a Mina led dragon band, but I don’t have an LBD and haven’t looked at how many CE dragons can fit in one band.

| I love using the Vamp Aristo and Lich Necro together. Maybe you can use Deathlocks instead of Gith for an all-Fearless band.

I tried to build an undead band, but it just lacked damage output.
I looked at a CG band, with the "almost good, but not quite good enough to be tier one" theme, and that consists of the half giant psychic warrior, djinni, champion of elistrae, fire gensai...which also happpens to be the sword theme.
I also tried to build an all psionics band, but there just isn't enough damage output - I hope that is fixed in future minis. | |

| While I don't need to win, I want to have some chance :):):)
The blindfight/sight list is quite extensive. I had the wrackspawn in for awhile, but I think I took it out. Chuul is definitely in there, now that I think about it, or is it in some other band I built.
I also tried to build a stunned/dazed and confused band with all the minis that can cast confusion or stun, but there is just so little damage other than from the commanders (Lareth and Yuanti) that I couldn't make it work. | |

2 x Sprit Folk (hey, what's that, no one has ever played that!)
2 x timber wolf
198 points, I believe.
I may go back to the owlbear, but the 2 x spirit folk plue 2 x timber wolf seemed more survivable.

| Robby, I almsot did that one.
I also almost did an all acid band from CG, but not enough damage output.
It's likely I'll bring six-ten bands and let my opponent roll to determine what we use, as long as I get to pick the map for the map rounds.
Format is 200 points, 1 round with 8 figures and maps, 1 round with 12 figures and map, and 1 round of choice. I can't remember if it is assault, but I'm pretty sure it is. | |

| i would just go with the aberration band. Abberrations do so many goofy things that it should be entertaining. It'd be more fun for me too because your putting alot more stock in die rolls on those DC saves so its more suspensful.

| Here's a blind-fight group that suffers on activations (even in an 8-activation world), but should still be tough. I would have gone more activations, but I think the blind-fighting fodder is pretty much crap:
21 Tiefling Captain
56 Draegloth
67 Large Deep Dragon
56 Grimlock Barbarian x2
The Draegloth should be pretty brutal with +15 on each attack (thanks to the dragon). Save the dragon's breath to injure as many enemies as possible, so that the Grimlocks can have their killer instinct kick in. | |
