| This just came up in my first 500 pt game last night as well.
I looked it up in the Floor Rules and it does not say.

Assault Scenario - Players invade enemy territory and maneuver to keep their opponent’s warband out of their territory.
Victory: Victory goes to the first player to score victory points equal to the warband limit (100 points in a 100-point tournament or 200 points in a 200-point tournament).
There are two ways to score victory points:
1) Eliminate enemy creatures: Players score victory points equal to the cost of each eliminated model.
2) Occupy a tile in the enemy’s half of the board: At the end of each round, if a player has a model on one or more terrain tiles that are entirely on the
opponent’s half of the board, that player is awarded five victory points in a 100-point event. Ten victory points are awarded in a 200-point event. A model that takes up multiple squares is considered to be on a terrain tile if any part of the model is on that tile. For example, at the end of a round in a 200-point event, a player has models on two different tiles that are entirely on the opponent’s half of the board. That player would score 10 victory points.

Extreme Scenarios
Extreme tournaments are played using the Assault format (see Section 852).
So, it doesn't say what the tile points are for Extreme but we can surmise that it is 25 pts, or 5% of the goal.
If anyone has a specific link that specifically lists how many points, I'd like to see it.

I believe that Hellspike came out with another legal 500/Epic map but I didn't check to see if it has victory areas. In the only Epic tournament I've played in, we used The Lost Temple and no Assault points. | |

| It used to be listed under the assault format rules. I thought it was weird that it didn't specify it specifically under the 500 pt rules. It made you have to search for it. When they cleaned up the rules, it looks like that line must of been removed.
Hopefully they will be doing a new rules update soon as theres a lot of other things like Epic maps missing from the rules as well. | |

| | Last extreme tourney I attended had the 25 points for tile occupancy. The previous one was played on Lost Temple and as pointed out there are no victory areas hence it was to the death. | |

| The value of Assault Points in each format is 5% of the warband totals. That's the easy way to remember it.
5% of 100 is 5
5% of 200 is 10
5% of 500 is 25 | | | |

The Tomb of Queen Peregrine map from Fane of the Drow and the Hellspike map from Hellspike Prison are both epic maps with victory areas. Right now they're not DCI compliant, but if I were running an Epic Assault Tournament before March I'd turn a blind eye to their use, since the current legal maps (Lost Temple and Dragon Horde?) don't have victory areas, and aren't very balanced. | |
