| There have been dozens of varients but since i don't own a pyromancer i like the offensive help of the crow shaman. That free attack to kill a squishy commander and still deal 60 more damage to a neighboring piece is gruesome. Possible 90m total. Heres the band:
Core
Inspiring Marshal 29pts
Frenzied Berserker x2 104pts
Crow Shaman 26pts
41pts to spare
What i would do with my limited minis for that 41pts is:
Goliath Barbarian 31pts
x2 Xeph Warriors 6pts
ELf Warrior 4pts
Or for more activations in an 8 activation environment:
Graycloak Ranger x2 30pts
Wild Elf Raider 6pts
Elf Warrior 4pts
Timber Wolf x2 (free: timbers for the when they rid opf the spd-2 rule)
Thoughts and suggestions? The main reason i am asking for responses is that i got a Crow for x-mas [:D]
Edit: Changed a Xeph and Elf warrior in the higher activation build to make it 8-fig legal. | |

| | Actually I like the Crow Shaman + Gol Barb..Gives you 3 main hitters AND another "hitter" via the Crow Shaman. Could be very interesting. I think Ill have to try it out, im tinkering with a few IF variants right now and this one looks interesting. | |

yeah, i really love the goliath. He is great for his pts. I normally have him hang back with the IM incase there are any creatures attempting to assassinate and he joins the fight when neccassary. | |

| | Satyr is good with this band, countersong and one-time +4 inish could be deadly. Speed 8 lets it keep up with the FBs. It's uncommon so you should be able to get one easily if you don't have it. | | | |

This one is still illegal (11 figures, only 2 minions...) for 8 figure play. Drop a Elf Warrio and the Xeph and add a Wilf Elf?

| | Oops. It is over by one activation. (wolves don't count against max activation) so i'll take out the xeph and an elf warrior to switch for a tilegrabbin wild elf raider. | |

| I've been tinkering with the same combinations.
I have not looked at including the Goliath Barbarian and I may have to try and work him in.
Here are some other suggestions:
1) In place of x1 Frenzied Berserker, try working in with the Goliath Barbarian a Wizard Tactician for the ranged attacks (Orb of Cold, EMM, and Bigby's Slapping Hand to get more attacks for FB & Goliath) (with Crow Shaman you can dish out some serious damage in a single round).
2) Xen'drim Champion - low cost, fast, good AC, ranged & melee attacks.
3) Devis 1/2 Elf Bard - for the obvious Countersong.
4) Lonstrider Ranger - I just love this figure, just don't know how to work him into a warband (great speed (12), good att @ +13/+13 (10 magic dam), Death Strike).
5) Medium Astral Construct - fast(10), good AC (18), ok HP(30), and its a CONSTRUCT (with all those resistances) for 10 pts.

| | I think that the Medium Astral Construct will be seeing more play because of those nasty Githzerai Monks, and the move to the 8 figure limits. A 30 HP construct for a cost of 10 will become one of the best fodder/filler units in the future. | |
