this is not a great band for the minis that you can put in a 100 LE warband. for example the Duergar Champion is tough and pwns the fodder as well.

Poor student looking for minis =D

Yeah, I still feel that the ogre mage is waaaay too fragile for his points. He's also the best hitter you have in this warband, so that's not too good either. I don't really have a good fix for this warband either. You simply need more offensive potential somewhere, and a beater of some type. As much as I love the green dragon, he isn't a strong enough hitter to lead this warband.

Well i´m limited because i have not a great variety of miniatures, i have a small collection and i lack some good pieces, thanks for your comments i would like more.

Yes Green Dragon is not so strong, i was thinking how to improve his damage.

When you're working with a very limited selection, the best thing to do is probably to post a list of the figures you have to work with in the faction. That will let people make suggestions that are actually useful to you instead of ones that you'll read and think "of course that would be better if I had it, but I don't."

Right now, for instance my balor band is probably the best I can do in CE even though it's not particularly competitive--I just don't have the pieces I need to build a really competitive band. The only faction where I actually have a majority of the competitive toolkit is LG. So, I can't always take advantage of a lot of the advice I get. So, let us know what you have to work with and we may be able to make our advice more helpful.

Like I said, don't get me wrong about the Green dragon, he is a very effective skrimish piece. But you simply don't have the back up necessary to run him alone. There are alot of competitive or semi-competitive units in the past 2 sets for LE. Obviously Duergar champs or chraals jump to mind. For a commander you could look to, say, a dark naga, or maybe even the troglodyte commander. He's not a great piece, but he's not bad when dealing with a limited collection. If you've got a couple of destrachens and a dark naga, that could work.

Thank for your good will to help me[:D]

Now we are playing 200 pts and i play an improved version adding Large Blue Dragon, and a Hobgoblin Bladebearer, and a IMP for bothering the patience to my enemy.

How good is that destrachens for play? i have only one and i was thinking to put into the squad.

Destrachens are solid units, but they've fallen out of favor recently, I feel because of the rise of the effecient LE 30ish beaters. I don't like the imp too much, simply because, he'll just die and die again. The bladebearer hobgoblin isn't too bad, but he's not great either. If you're gonna run him try and get an Urthok. As for the LBD, I have a love affair with that piece. He's not always super-effecient, but he is reliable. Try to get a magic weapon on him. He's one of those pieces that really will suffer vs. DR.
