| Which is your favorite Tile? As we have a favorite mini, we should also have a favorite tile from the legal ones published by WOTC. | | Knight of the Quori Champion of King Kaius III of Karrnath

Blood Stone Tile (I like 19-20 Critical Hits [:D])
Treasure room is nice for RPG but could be a trouble in skirmish

| Mushroom Tangle Assy 6
To keep this from just being a list to spam, I like these two for a couple reasons. -Mushroom tangle has no hard edges, so it can fit nearly anywhere. It can also seriously muck-up the opponents early game unless all his figs burrow or fly. Also good for line of sight, so Archers or long-range spellcasters like this tile. -Assy 6 has a sheltered alcove to protect from first turn fireballs, difficult terrain near the exit to slow down routing pieces, and a shelf just outside of the alcove that I can set up on for a more aggressive start if my opponent doesn't pack a significant long range threat.
Runners-up would be the torture chamber or the treasure room, purely for a safe vp area. | | Champion of the Entire Monster Manual 1! (Click link to see current progress!) Uncommon Painting Competition 2 Winner

i'll have to agree
not because its the biggest but it has 2 solid walls, lots of statues and well ok because it's big and denies your opponent from usually laying their last tile
i like assembly tile 6 and rubble | | Trades: Complete: 134 Ongoing: 1 BAD: 2 = Cha0tic g0od, Thor <--- thief and a liar Champion of the Aspect of Yeenoghu, Demon Prince of Gnolls and Bigby

| Like Many, I almost always choose the Treasure room. That said, the Mushroom tangle is a VERY close 2nd.

| | I liked spikestones the best. I liked to try to arrange how my opponent could approach the combat area and/or try to inflict more damage to routing creatures. | My least favorite tile is Endgame, and my next least favorite is the Treasure Room.
At least before the arrival of Endgame, the Treasure Room still allowed a diversity of map setups to occur and different games many times, even with the same players, warbands, and tiles.
With the arrival of Endgame, the diversity of terrain setups dropped enourmously. If not for the arrival of pre-printed maps and the de facto usage of maps by most communities around the world, I would push for banning of Endgame due to its negative impact on the diversity of play. | | Member of the Low Post Count but High Post Content Society

| | I agree with Derry on this - once Endgame was introduced, the Endgame/Treasure Room/Tangle combination became the obvious default, maybe with hall of heroes standing in occasionally. It would take a really odd band or sealed draw to get me to budge from using those; they're just too good, and they're also the best way to even out the situation against an opponent packing the same tiles. | | Anson on WotC boards | |

| Yea, i agree too, my friends and i dont use it in casual games, takes away from the creativity and "ever changing battlefield" aspect of tiles.
As for my favorite tiles, i like spike stones and corridor, I mean, they arent the best tournement wise, but they are fun to use and pretty good. | | Champion of Troglodytes!
