| Hello!
Our group are playing a epic tournament, without war drums (still waiting for them)...
I'm planning to use:
-Lord soth
-Dark naga
-Beholder
-Beholder
-Helmed horror
-Helmed horror
-Death knight
-Blue wyrmling
-8/10 activations
Do i have a chance?

| I'd go:-
Epic Lord Soth (244)
Dark Naga (41)
Beholder (81)
Iron Golem (61)
Iron Golem (61)
3 Kobold Miners (9)
Total (497)
This could be viable against the mirror match.
The Dark Naga can make use of bigbys slapping hand on 3 hitters(golems,soth) with high attack rating.
Too many fire immune creatures & DR in 500 points,so helmed horror wont be that great.
Golems great as screeners+spell immunity.
I wont depend too much on the beholders in 500 point play,i'd test witht the melee rate atm cos of Soths CFX.after all creatures only role morale save once,and you wanna increase the chances of getting the hit.
Death knight is just too squishy.not worth it for the additional abyssal blast.

| On the off chance that you don't actually have two rare Iron Golems, I'd say yeah, you've got a chance.
Do you know what resources your friends have? Do you have other high dollar/epic pieces in LE at your disposal?

| Well i have 2 iron golems but i dont have Soth's epic card, yet!
Artemis & Justicator are also on my list.
My friends are collectors, so i have to worry just about everything...
-Drop Horror(s) & knight, add Golems?

| I read on another topic the cards out in United STates this thursday.not sure about the download.
unfortunately i'm in new zealand,so like you,we are way behind in getting anything compared to America.
i do have the 2 rare golems and they rock in epic.spell immunity,high hitpoints,fearless,fire immue,dr5, high Attack rating,jeez... | |
