| Here is a warband idea! Lots of synergy!
Scared? HA!
Cleric of Dol Arrah 45 Sword Archon 82 3 X Gold Dwarf Soldier 51 1 X Axe Soldier 13 1 X Timberwolf 5 1 X Hill Dwarf Warrior 4
Total 200 pts.
Sword Archon grants 5 extra damage to fearless, Cleric of Dol Arrah grants Fearless to all Soldiers/Fighters
The gold dwarf fighters have 40 fearless life and Hit for 20 The axe soldier the same hitting at 15 with potential of 20 Sure the attacks are only at +8 but thats not bad for cheap units. The sword archon can take the beefy high ACs, while being healed by CODA. Key is to protect CODA.
The wolf is for tile grabbing. The draw back is the pieces will need to stay near the commanders for the effect. Look out for mass AEs.
Anyway I thought it might be fun to try, tell me what you think. | | "Like a thief in the Night"

| | Yea energy BW and stuff will kind of hurt you a little. Personally I think I'd try to at least fit in one JA somewhere in there. Anymore with LG, I cant imagine not having a JA. Especially when you end up facing Chaotic bands. Losing the Axe soldier and a gold dwarf would be close to doing so. You'd have to tweak it a little. But your band is pretty nice. | | Champion of a Knight of Takhisis/Knight of Neraka | |

| | I think sacred watchers are marginally better with the sword Archon, A) because they are naturally fearless so you can put in a couatl or something instead of D-A, and B) because they are more mobile and much harder to kill. | | Thousands of Zulu's, behind You!

| I would consider changing all of the gold dwarves to axe soldiers and upgrading the hill dwarf to another axe soldier (which still leaves enough points to upgrade the the timber wolf to a warforged scout). Sure, you only end up with four activations, but you can leverage that to dish out a sword archon and five axe soldier hits in the first pair of activations.
EDIT--well, I'd consider it. The challenge is that it would guarantee your opponent the first pair of activations in the engagement round (if you win initiative and make him go first prior to engagement, he gets to use his last two activations to engage without the possibility of response, and then you have to hope to win initiative (likely but not guaranteed and certainly not against Ryld or a Cmdr 4+Satyr) on the next round). It still might work out well, but it's a risky play. But I think I'd still want to try it once or twice to see how it works. | | | |

| | I tried out a Sword/CoDA/GDS band back when Underdark first came out. I took down a 2 Beholder + Snig band. It works decently well as long as you let the GDSes take the hits. Remember, the SA can stand behind the Dwarves and hit with Melee Reach, and still have a decent attack bonus. | | | |
