| WAR BAND #1 Ryld Argoth 55 2 x Frenzied Bezerkers 104 Crow Shaman 26 Devis 6 3 X Xeph Warrior 9
8 act. 200 pts
This warband is about winning the intiative getting the FB where they need to be and casting snake swiftness on them to dish out extra damage.
War Band # 2 Green Fang Druid 50 2 x Frenzied Bezerkers 104 Crow Shaman 26 Devis 6 Wild elf Raider 6 2 X Elf warrior 8
8 act. 200 pts.
This war band features a regen placed on each FB to alleviate the burnout. Chances of winning intiative are not as good, but the FBs may live a round longer with the extra life and as well benefit from snakes swiftness.
Anyway please discuss tell me which may be better? | | "Like a thief in the Night"

| | I think Ryld brings more to the table for a frenzied band than the druid does. The druid's regeneration can alleviate burnout, but that's pretty much all he's got that Ryld doesn't have (and have better). Ryld, on the other hand, helps with initiative which will determine map choice (probably advantageous though I don't know that FB's have any obviously BAD map choices like Hellspike would be for a ranged band) and, the very important initiatives that will come up. Initiative seems like it would be more important for a FB band than for most others since the FB's take damage so quickly, it's important for them to route or kill as many enemies as possible as quickly as possible. Unlike some hitters, where each activation means a chance at some damage, for FBs, each enemy activation means almost guaranteed damage. | | | |

| | I would tend to agree, the Ryld band is stronger. Initiative control can be important and without some Animals in the warband you're paying for abilities on the Druid you won't be using. | | | |

| Ryld hand down
The Greenfang has some advantages but in reality burnout is not that big of a problem and the melee plus and init bonus far outwiegh the regen issue.
FB's are about getting stuck in quick. | | Unto Death We Strive,

| | Ryld Argoth band is stronger but if you have a Nebin, Gnome Illusionist he is great with the frenzied berzerkers since the FB have low AC and Nebin, Gnome Illusionist(harbinger) has 2 blur spells. just a sugestion for future bands. | | | |

| | The first one. The Druid really in not doing much than eliminating burnout and being a combatant. Ryld is a lot better. | | My Trading Thread | |

| | Yeah, I'd go with the first band. It lets the Berserkers attack first just about every round. | | Check out my DDM Blog: http://scifirules.livejournal.com "I will pay my dues when you send me my tusks!" -Strong Bad Champion of Chainmail Equivalencies | Knight of Efficient Fodder WotDQ Called Shot: Large Green Dragon (VINDICATED) | Blood War Called Shot: Large Brass Dragon | Unhallowed Called Shot: Skeletal Troll
