| Ok all you CE and Orc fans. We all know that the Orc Warrior is one of, if not the best, Orc mini pound for pound for the cost and that the Orc Champ is an awesome piece. But how about all of the other many orc mini’s in between – which orcs are a must for a warband? What orc would you include if you have the room? What other orcs are pound for pound a good piece for the cost?
Here are all the orcs I can find. If I have missed one, please feel free to add to the list.
Orc Warrior CE 3 pts [the best orc for the cost][^]
Orc Spearfighter CE 5 pts
Orc Savage CE 7 pts
Orc Brute CE 8 pts Orc Berserker CE 8 pts Orc Archer CE 8 pts
Orc Raider CE 12 pts Half Orc Barbarian CG/CE 12 pts Mountain Orc CE 12 pts
Howling Orc 15 pts
Half Orc Monk LG/LE 17 pts
Orc Wardrummer CE 19 pts
Half Orc Executioner LE 23 pts Orc Sergeant CE 24 pts
Orc Mauler CE 26 pts Orc Druid CE 27 pts
Orc Champion CE 39 ptsΖD]
Eye of Grummsh CE 44 pts
Rask Half Orc Chainfighter CG 52 pts
See here’s your chance to add your $0.02 worth of what orc or orcs are the best and your favorite.
Have fun.
Cheers.

| I suppose you could consider the Orc Skeleton in the list.

| Based on sculpt alone I do like the Orc Berserker.
I have to agree with the Wardrumer as well, he's a bargain at 19 points.

| | I think the best orc piece in this moment is the orc wardrummer because you can include him in most of the CE warbands and he works so great (Ah....the umber hulk with the wardrummer). In my opinion the eye is much better than the champion because today you,ll need much more melee attack than damage and the eye is always neccesary for the orc champion damagin bonus. The next one is the orc champion. He will continue being the most fearsome warrior through all expansions. The next is the orc warrior but now he,s less overpowered.and the last one is the druid because his snakes swiftness is brutal. The other orcs dislike me,but the orc skeleton can be summoned with the lich and causes 10 damage (interesting thing). | | LOVE THIS GIRL | |

| | Yep, the Orc Wardrummer is a must have. That means it pretty much has to be one of the better ones, but not so good for RPG. I do like the Berserker a lot for rpg, looks like a crazy orc attacking your PC's. Very nice | | Champion of a Knight of Takhisis/Knight of Neraka | |

| Eye of Gruumsh. Hits as hard as the orc champ (assuming the champ isn't under his command), with a high attack bonus on both attacks, so he's a much more reliable source of damage. CR 1 means he acts more like an independent figure than a commander, but I find nothing wrong with a beater that can rally itself.
It's also one of the coolest looking orcs released to date. Hard to belive it is from an early set. | | Champion of the Entire Monster Manual 1! (Click link to see current progress!) Uncommon Painting Competition 2 Winner

| I like the wardrummer a lot. Orc warriors and Orc chumps are great statwise, and thier look is so very Orc.
Orc Druid and Eye are very unquie looking Orcs, and very well done.
I also like the beserker and spear fighter. | | "Mutton yesterday, mutton today, and blimey, if it don't look like mutton again tomorrer." | Did I miss the Cleric of Gruumsh on the list? I think that's one of the most outrageous outfits for an orc. I like the Druid and Champ the best for skirmish though.

| | The Cleric of Gruumsh was popular with the Ogre Ravager for obvious reasons, and when GoL first came out, Orc Druids were pretty devastating when used with the Fomorians. | | Over 270 successful online DDM trades. | |

| I'm not a big orc fan, (RPG or skirmish) but I have to admit the Orc Champ is cool looking, and as we all know, powerful as heck.

| | Are you counting King Obould to the list? If so, I think that he looks pretty cool. For skirmish wise I would have to say that the Orc Champ is my favourite. I haven't actually seen the Wardrummer played yet, and I don't have one myself. | | | |

Yes, she is. Rather useful commander effect for the current meta, but unfortunately much to squishy for the point cost. | | Map Explorer - Uniques gallery

| Eye and Drummer,
Damage and saves.
Orc Warrior is great fodder but fairly easily dispatched by elf warrior, blue, etc. does look really good though for a common. | | Champion of Cyclops

| | The Eye of Grummsh he is the meanest most pissed off orc of all and he lays down pain. Runner up is Many Arrows he also is a bad-arse and has a great paint job (at least mine does). | | Champion of Zarak - Evil Half-Orc Assassin | |

| From a looks perspective it is the good ol' Eye. Since he also kicks major butt in skirmish he is the hands down winner.
I also love the howler orc from WDs in terms of appearance.
The Wardrummer I dislike, but in the the spirit of isomorphism I've included him in every CE band I've built since I got one - He's just too useful to pass up.
Also, I no longer think the OW is very good. I've avoided 5hp pieces like the plague since bounty came in - its just a free 15 points to your opponent. I'd rather plan my warband to use the sturdier fodder - the Quaggoth Slave for example. | | Champion of the Huge Green Dragon *cough* Cyan *cough* Bloodbane *cough*

| | For sculpt/looks I'd go with Rask and the Orc Druid. Although the Orc Champ is pretty mean looking as well. For skirmishable stats I would rank the Wardrummer, Eye, and Champ high. | | Champion of Remorhaz, and the Mighty Goblin Frog Riders | |
