Here is a suggestion on an Epic Soth band : Lord Soth (epic) (244) Aspect of Bane (106) 2x Khumat (51) 48 pts for folders (maybe something with Stench). The new Soth commander effect kills creatures that you hit with your AoO when you make a creature rout. This is great with the Khumat. Just have the Khumat attack a creature adjacent to Bane, he will most likely fail the moral save, then you just have to hit again with the Khumat to kill this creature. I know that this will not work on undead or constructs, or large creatures, but the Khumat + epic Soth combo still looks promessing.

Too much depends on the JoD gimmick. Personally, I'd never even consider running Epic Soth without a Beholder.

Drop 1 Khumat, add 1 Beholder and you still have 16pts to go for 4 activations. (2 miners & 2 Timbers?)

I doubt the usefullness of Khumats in Epic. Sure the Jaws of Doom are nice, but the epic is the one format with the largest amount of larges and huges running about... Stuff like Fomorian's, Aspect of Kords, Maruts, etc makes this warband cry.
